The Princess couldn't contain the shock she had received after hearing Teresia tell her children's ages nonchalantly. Teresia found it amusing because it was normal for her.
"Then how old are you?" The Princess asked.
"I am very young." Teresia chuckled, "Just about," She whispered, "803 years."
The Princess's jaw dropped in surprise. "What about the Great Father?"
Teresia pressed her lips together, "He is much older. I do not know his age though. He says he has always been here. This is why we call him the Great Father. He has seen and raised every single one of us. He even raised my father."
"He might be the first one of your kind."
"I used to think so too." Teresia smiled, "But he says he is not."
"How did he survive for so long? From what I perceive, being your kind does not defeat death."
"That is true." Teresia nodded, "If all the water is depleted from our body, we might perish."
