Clenching her eyes tightly, the Princess felt her arms stretching to her weight. That meant she had succeeded in her plan. The Princess opened her eyes and looked up at her tied hands. They supported her on a tree branch. The Princess had gambled on this plan.
It was either going to work, or she was going to die.
Fortunately, it had worked well, other than the arrow going through her calf. If she had untied her hands, she wouldn't hold onto the tree branch properly. She left her hands tied so they could support her body. It was a pain, but the Princess was glad she hadn't let fate decide her destination.
Now that the assassins were no longer chasing her, she could return to the mansion and ask for Heinrich's help.
The only problem at hand was that she remained stuck to this tree, and her leg was bleeding. Her hands were tied, and she couldn't move around freely either. The tassel knife was still in her hands.
