Later at night, Cassie sits, cleaning her sword in Carolyn's office. Carolyn looks at her phone, looking at a text from Oscar.
Just checking up on you, sweetheart. <3
Oscar texts. Carolyn puts her phone down.
"Fuck."
Cassie looks up. "Something wrong, Madame?"
"Nothing... just tired."
"How come you don't want to go home?"
"Fucking Michele... I hate her... I can't even go home without her criticizing me over this shit."
"Oh..."
Carolyn shifts herself onto her chair, closes her eyes, and sighs. "Even when she wanted me to be in her Mafia back in 2017, I wouldn't do it until she threatened me to join. Causing me to lose a lot of people that I befriended back then."
Flashbacks appear in her head, seeing fire all over Henderson. Blood all over the ground, and all over her hands. Michele pats Carolyn's back.
"Love this scene, blood and slaughtered people on the ground, you did a good job." Michele said.
Carolyn looks around and sees a moon witch in the distance.
"Deb..."
"Why, Carol?" Deb starts to tear up.
"Deb please, Let me explain.."
"Fuck her, Carolyn. You have me now."
Carolyn starts to cry silently.
The flashback ends.
"Just thinking about it makes me FUCKING-" Carolyn hits her desk with her fists. Cassie jumps in fear. Carolyn's demon horns appear on her head. She touches the horns on her head.
"Damnit..."
"Madame?"
Carolyn looks up at Cassie. Her eyes widened.
"Oh my god! Are you alright?!" Cassie asked.
"I'm fine, this is normal for me. When I get mad, I change into my demon form."
Carolyn touches her horns to disappear off her head. She sits back down. Cassie gets up from her seat, grabs her sword and puts it in her sheath.
"Do you want me to go?"
"I wish I could say 'yes' but I can't." Carolyn said. Cassie sits back down. They both wait for the phone to ring. Silence roams around the office.
"Any plans for tonight madame?"
"Going home and cooking. Oscar and I are having homemade meatballs tonight."
"Oooh, sounds good." Cassie said, Carolyn chuckles.
"What about you?" Carolyn asks.
"Well my fiance and I-"
The phone rings, cutting off Cassie talking. Carolyn picks up the phone and puts it on speaker.
"Carolyn, darling. Did Cassie kill the perpetrator at the Bellagio yet?"
Carolyn sighs. "Yes, she did. But..."
"What the fuck? What do you mean 'but'?" Michele asks. Carolyn looks up at Cassie. Cassie walks up to Carolyn's desk.
"Well... We might have a slight problem. We have a hero bystander in our hands." Cassie said.
"DON'T TELL ME IT'S THOSE THREE FUCKERS AGAIN!" Michele yelled.
"No. It isn't ma'am."
"Then who is it?!"
"I used to work with her. Her name is Alyssa."
"Alyssa?" Carolyn mumbles. Michele goes silent.
"Carolyn...I swear you aren't doing your job as Mob donna. Why do you continue to fucking fail as the leader when I trusted you to become the mob donna when I went to prision?"
"It's not my fault that she showed up!"
"You shut your fucking mouth. As for you Cassie, you make sure you fucking kill her and those three fuckers."
"Well you should at least be happy that she killed your perpetrator!"
"WHAT DID I SAY?!" Michele yelled. Carolyn shuts her mouth. "Look, It's time to take back the city of Las Vegas like it was back in the day and It's my turn to run this city. These heroes are going to stop my plans from forming and I can't have it! If you guys don't start killing the locals that are speaking out against us and kill those heroes. I'm killing you guys myself. Starting with you Carolyn." Michele hangs up the phone. Cassie looks at Carolyn. She gets up, grabs her clutch and keys and runs out of the balcony. Cassie runs after her.
"Madame! What are you doing?!" Cassie asks. Carolyn gets on the beam of the balcony. She jumps off, her wings appear and she starts to fly away towards the strip. Cassie steps on the beam of the balcony and looks for Carolyn in the sky. She was nowhere to be seen. Cassie jumps off and swings away to find her. Carolyn flies over the medical district and over her neighborhood. She passes by the strip, flying over to Henderson. Cassie gets closer to her.
"Carolyn!" Cassie yelled. Carolyn looks back at her.
"Cassie please. I need to be alone right now."
She flies off to the Clark County wetlands. Cassie stops on top of a billboard near the Green Valley Bridge.
"I hope she doesn't do anything to harm herself." Cassie thinks to herself.
Meanwhile at Azenith's house. Azenith, Jason, and Dylan walk in the house. Jason carries the last moving box.
"That's about it for me and Dylan." Jason said, putting down the last box on the floor.
"Welcome to your new home." Azenith said.
"Thanks Azenith for letting us move in."
"No problem."
Dylan sits on the couch. He feels pain from his arms and moans in pain.
"Ow..." Dylan moaned.
"You might want to be careful." Jason said. "You just came out of the hospital."
"Ah.. Yeah, I should."
Jason walks upstairs to his room with the box in his hand.
"Want something to drink, Dylan?" Azenith asks.
"Sure, have any juice boxes?"
"Let me see."
Azenith walks over to the fridge and looks in it. She finds an apple juice box. She picks it up.
"Do you like apples?" Azenith asks.
"I'll take it." Dylan said. Azenith gives Dylan his juice box. "Thank you."
"You're Welcome." Azenith smiles. Jason walks downstairs.
"Well, since we moved in. What do you guys want to do?"
"We just got back from saving another hero today. Don't you think you want to sit and relax for a bit?" Azenith said.
"Well if you wanted to, you could've just asked."
"Not like that, Jason. I meant sit down. Dylan just got out of the hospital and he needs to rest."
"That's true." Jason sits on the barstool in the kitchen. Azenith sits next to him.
"Speaking of which, what was wrong with her?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean what's wrong with her getting upset with me, all I said is to 'calm down'."
"I think you want to repeat what you said and tell me you didn't make yourself upset by that response." Dylan said.
"Calm down-" Azenith repeats. She frowns. "Oh. I didn't realize."
"Yeah..."
"I'll apologize to her when I see her again."
"Alrighty." Dylan continues to drink his juice. Azenith sighs. Jason wraps his arm around her.
"It's alright. Alyssa can be a little bit... 'defensive' at times. I wouldn't worry about it too much."
"You sure?"
"I'm sure. Dylan and I used to work with her, she's really nice and understanding once you get to know her. Right Dylan?"
Dylan looks at them and nods yes. "Oh yeah, she's really nice to an extent. She's hesitant to meet people for the first time."
"Yep. I think she'll be accepting once you apologize to her." Jason said.
Azenith sighs, "Alright."
Jason smiles. Dylan turns on the television. He grabs the remote, goes to the guide and looks through the channels.
"Want to watch a movie on Netflix?"
"Sure," Azenith and Jason said. They both got up from the stools and sat on the couch with Dylan.
