Horrifying Tales of Haunted Places-(Moved to a New Link)

Horror stories written by Joseph Kohtz The Ghoulish Haunted Mansion: On Halloween, a group of kids decides to go inside an old abandoned mansion to see if it's haunted and end up getting scared out of their minds by all sorts of monsters and ghosts. While inside, the kids meet up with a talking cat and jack-o-lantern who try to protect them from the spirits and try to convince one of them to read a spell from a book to get rid of the ghosts. Return to The Ghoulish Haunted Mansion: On a field trip, Susan Piper takes her class to The Wellington Mansion and tells them how it was haunted before she got rid of the ghosts a decade ago on Halloween with her friends' help. She also told her class how to re-haunt the house and warned them not to do so. The next day, on Halloween, six of Susan's students enter the mansion, bring the ghosts and monsters back, and get scared out of their wits. Jack, the jack-o-lantern who knew their teacher, protects them with help from Alvin, the ghost puppy, and tries to convince Victoria to read the same spell Susan read when she was in the mansion to get rid of the ghosts. The Spooky Halloween Sleepover in The Haunted Woods: After a few of their friends go missing, a group of kids investigates The Dead Woods to find them. While there, they run into monsters and ghosts that pick them off. Since their friends are disappearing, they decide to have a sleepover in the haunted woods until they find their friends, but they soon all go missing after the hauntings get worse. Fear Itself: After being told a ghost story around the campfire, a group of kids who go to a camp gets scared to death while ghosts and monsters haunt the camp and forest. They get scared, but some think it's all a prank by one of the counselors at first, even when the campers and the counselors start to get picked off one by one. Even though things look bad, some campers still think it's a fraud, at least until things get worse. Because the longer they stay and ignore the ghosts' warnings, the worse the hauntings get. Then they become convinced and start to get scared out of their wits.

Standing Next To You

A man in his thirties was standing in front of she-devil's grave, under everyone's watchful eyes, he dropped the flower to her coffin, his tone was full of ridicule. "Congrats on your death." Next year he came, "I won. You lost to me and I will live well. Just rot in there." Next year he came again, "I have a pretty girlfriend and I will marry next year. My life is good. Nothing to worry about." Next year he came once more, "I will stop visiting and forget you! My life is better without you! See, I live well!" But he came again the next year and the years after that. People said he was hunted by his so-called arch-enemy. That even after death, the devil did not even let him go. He stood in front of her grave. His once handsome face had turned old and wrinkly. "Bei Sangyun, I cursed you. You are not allowed to rest in peace. You must be suffering there like me, right? You devil..." He might be the last one standing. But his life was the same as the dead's- lifeless and empty. He did not live well, he never once marry and his heart was never at peace. And it was all the fault of one person. ***** Bei Sangyun was a big bully in high school. The target of her bullying was the skinny boy in her grade, Fei Chuan. They were classmates once in kindergarten and met again in high school. But one day, just a year left before graduation, the big bully suddenly changed. One day, Fei Chuan hesitantly opened his locker. The other night, the big bully said that she left something in his locker. He did not really want to open it. He was afraid a poisonous snake would come out of his locker. However, his report card was there. With gritted teeth, the young boy opened it. However, what appeared was not a hideous thing as he expected, but a bright pink letter with a little heart sticker as a seal. It turned out, the surprise was scarier than a snake. Was this a new form of torture? Since then, Bei Sangyun relentlessly chased the young Fei Chuan until the two got married. ****** This is a story of rebirth. The two arch-enemies who could not live under the same sky had become sweet lovers.

Who is Greater_?

Expanding the synopsis to 2,000 words would turn it into a detailed introduction or prologue rather than just a summary. Below is a refined and extended version that gives more depth to the story while keeping it engaging and immersive. --- Who is Greater? A Story of Faith, Money, and Sacrifice Prologue: The Silent Question It was a cold night. The kind that seeps through your clothes and wraps itself around your bones. The sky stretched endlessly above, a canvas of stars glimmering like scattered diamonds. The moon, pale and unwavering, stood still in its place, indifferent to the world below. I sat in my courtyard, nestled in an old rocking chair, gazing at the vastness above. The silence of the night was comforting, almost deceptive, making me forget the burdens I carried. If only life could be this peaceful. But peace is a luxury. For a long time, I had believed in the goodness of life. I had worked hard, built a home, and raised my family with love and devotion. My daughter was growing into a bright young girl, and my son—my little boy—was the light of our lives. But life is unpredictable. One moment, you are standing firm, and the next, you are swept away by a storm you never saw coming. That storm came for me when my son fell ill. Chapter 1: A Father's Burden The next morning, I left for work. The streets were waking up, people rushing to their destinations, unaware of the battle I was fighting inside. An auto-rickshaw approached, and I raised my hand to stop it. It sped past without hesitation. I sighed and continued walking. The cold air wrapped around me, but I ignored it. I had bigger things to worry about. As I walked, I saw a familiar face—a long-lost friend. "Hello! Where have you been all these years?" I asked, the joy in my voice surprising even me. We exchanged warm greetings, our handshake firm and full of unspoken memories. But no matter how much we smiled, I couldn’t ignore the weight in my chest. "How is your family?" he asked, his tone soft. I hesitated. "My daughter is fine… but my son is unwell. He has been admitted to the hospital." His face darkened with concern. "That sounds serious. What will you do?" I sighed deeply. "I don’t have the money to continue his treatment. Can you help me?" For a moment, he said nothing. I could see the battle in his mind—the guilt of wanting to help but being unable to. Finally, he nodded. "I’ll try." Chapter 2: The Hospital Walls We rushed to the hospital. The halls smelled of antiseptic and quiet desperation. My mother stood near the doctor, worry lines deep on her face. "Doctor, what’s the situation?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. The doctor looked at me with practiced detachment. "Your son needs surgery immediately. You must deposit ₹2 lakh as soon as possible." The words hit me like a punch to the gut. ₹2 lakh. It might as well have been ₹2 million. "I… I don’t have that kind of money," I admitted. The doctor’s gaze didn’t waver. "Without payment, we cannot proceed." A suffocating silence followed. My friend placed a hand on my shoulder, grounding me. "We’ll find a way," he said. And so, we ran. We made countless calls, begged for help, knocked on doors. Some helped, others didn’t. Piece by piece, we collected the amount. By evening, we had ₹2 lakh. The surgery was scheduled. But this was only the beginning. Chapter 3: A Temporary Relief The hours passed like years. When the doctors finally emerged, my heart nearly stopped. "The surgery was successful," they said. Relief washed over me like a wave. My son was safe. For now. But reality wasn’t done with me yet. The next day, the doctor called me aside. "You will have to stay here for a few more days." Days turned into weeks. The bills stacked higher. My savings had already vanished, and each passing moment brought a new demand. One evening, the doctors sat me down. Their faces were unreadable. "There are additional complications," one of them said. "Your son needs

Follow Noah as she navigate the mess she calls her life, while hiding from the world that she was carrying the wrong Alpha's child. p.s cover is not mine. **** "Where's Kincade? Let's get this shit over with, okay?" I said, scanning the hall way for my contracted husband to be. My mother almost fainted but my father bit back a smile. Occasionally, he was the father every little girl pray for. "We will get to that as soon as we get a little thing out of the way" Lady Bridgette said and looked around like she misplaced something of little value. "I suppose any number of these vacant rooms would suffice for the inspection" "What inspection?" I asked no one in particular. The dowager duchess pointed at the room behind us and announced "This would do. Come" she commanded like we were dogs. She said and walked past me and pushed the door open. I was ushered inside the room and when Eva Belle tried to enter, the door was shut in her face. "The mother can stay but I doubt the father is needed, Yolanda" Bridgette spoke over us like we were servants not royalties. Sure, Avalon was the smallest country in the world but an old fart like her had no right to disrespect us. "Hey! Lady! What's going on?" I asked as my father per her request started walking towards the door. "Just do what she says, baby" My father whispered and walked out. I was still confused. "What's going on?!" "Hop on the bed, take off your undies and spread your legs, Nicolette" Lady Bridgette commanded. I almost laughed out loud. "Lady, are you high on fumes?" I asked her and laughed, turning around to laugh at the joke with my mother but she wasn't laughing. "Mom?" "Just do what they say. It would only take a minute, Noah" "A minute to..." "Doctor Stephen is here on behalf of Essex to check...to see...if you are still...intact" my mother murmured. I stood froze. There was nothing remotely funny about this. "They want to check to see if I was a virgin? For real? Is this a joke?" "Just do it" Mother said. "Dad!" I yelled on top of my voice. He couldn't have gone far. "Hop on the bed willingly or you would be restrained" Bridgette threatened.
