Mu Chen glanced at her with corner. It was new to him to find Yiren not looking overly dressed up and with loads of makeup. Instead she didn't even cared about how she looks right now. Like previous times, she didn't even greeted him and is not
talking to him.
" What were you doing till now? " Now after checking her
appearance, He was unsure of what took her this much time.
" Eating " Her one word answer stunned him.
Mr. Kwon felt that Ms. Yiren too turned like his boss.
"Why didn't you informed me about last night? " Mu Chen asked as he was looking at her eyes which contained a new kind of
light.
"Called your secretary in the afternoon but he didn't picked up. " Yiren said. Her heart was beating too loudIly that if no one talked
for a minute then her heartbeats could be heard.
"Then why didn't you waited till he picked up? " Mu Chen said as
he regretted over the one hour he wasted last night.
Yiren turned her body towards him and bended her neck
sideways. She was observing a single thing other than his good
looks which made her fall in love but found nothing.
Mu Chen too was observing her. She was radiating a new aura today. The way she answered, the way she turned to him without
saying anything was different to him.
" Let me guess why are you this pushy about me not informing you even after knowing that from grandpa. You must be regretting now that your time was wasted tomorrow. "Yiren
asked smoothly.
"Right" The CEO replied without hesitation.
Mr. Kwon sarcastically smiled listening to his boss.
" But didn't you felt that my time would also be wasted if | should've waited till your secretary picked up the call. " Yiren said
raising her eyebrow.
Mr. Kwon eyes filled with joy hearing someone saying these
words to his boss.
Mu Chen was silent after hearing that suddenly smiled. A wicked
one.
"But you did a mistake. " He said to Yiren while emphasizing
every word.

Mr. Kwon gave another thumbs up in his heart to Yiren after
hearing her words.
"If you're this offended by this then kindly annul our
engagement. " Yiren said casually but her tone was serious.
" What game are you playing Ms. Lu Yiren? " He asked while
staring at her.
"There is something wrong with your hearing. | said annul the
engagement." Yiren repeated.
Hearing no answer from him, Yiren again spoke,
" See, I'm not playing any game with you, nor I'm any more interested in you. Just consider the past events as some joke.
Please annul our engagement. " Yiren said while keeping a
straight face.
" You want me to believe you? " He snickered.
" Mr. Kwon, to the restaurant. " He ordered.
" What? " Yiren tried to open the door but it was locked.
"Are you-" Yiren swallowed the word dumb when she felt Mu
Chen staring at her in amusement.
Hearing no answer from him, Yiren again spoke,
" See, I'm not playing any game with you, nor I'm any more interested in you. Just consider the past events as some joke. Please annul our engagement. " Yiren said while keeping a
straight face.
"You want me to believe you? " He snickered.
