The silence was the same as the people, but the only change was the surrounding. The last they were like that was in his car
and now in his house.
Oh god, Yiren loudly sighed.
" What were you talking about with grandpa? " He initiated the
conversation.
"I was going to tell him about annulling our engagement when suddenly your appearance interrupted me and now grandpa left both us because we're going to marry each, so we should talk. "
Yiren said the last sentence sarcastically.
"So you were serious that day. " He asked her.
Grandpa Mu asked both of them to take a stroll in the backyard garden which is on the opposite side of where he was sitting to
give them privacy.
Both of them were now sitting on a bench. Mu Chen was sitting on the right side but Yiren was just sitting on the corner of left
side.
From the backyard garden one could see an old grand door of a
room. It's Grandpa Mu's bedroom. Beside that there was a
"Im not sitting close to any other lady. I'm sitting close to my legal fiance. Any problem Miss Lu? " He said like he's stating some kind of fact.
Yiren pushed him away and sat comfortably. She waited for her heart to calm down.
" See, I'm very, very serious about breaking our engagement. I don't want to marry you. " She said in one breathe. Mu Chen thought for another one minute before he said, FK
"Are you playing hard to get for my attention? " He said with a straight face.
Yiren stood up from her seat and looked at the man in front of her with a done expression.
"I'm not playing anything, but I'm just trying to say so that your narcissism filled brain can understand my words that I, Lu Yiren don't like you anymore Mu Chen and I will not marry you at any cost. " She said while grinning.
Mu Chen turned silent before saying,
" Whatever you're doing, I don't know, but this is really catching my attention. " He said again with the straight face.
Yiren gritted her teeth and cursed internally and stomped her feet while going out of his sight.
