Hours later, a hotel alarm went off and they both stirred from their slumber, feeling marginally better but still a bit hazy. As their eyes fully cleared, they both realized they were wrapped in each other's arms. Sensing the slight awkwardness, she gently moved back, but he inched closer to reach over her for the alarm clock since she didn't move to hit it.
The situation felt a touch uncomfortable, waking up entwined in each other's arms. In their slumber, it seemed akin to cuddling a king-sized pillow—except it was a person, a rather good-looking one, she thought.
As he leaned in to hit the alarm clock, she caught a whiff of his scent and found it pleasant. When he withdrew, he glanced at her and casually mentioned, "I'll be back; I gotta use the bathroom."
"Oh, sure," she nervously replied, hoping she hadn't appeared too obvious about catching his scent.
