Auston and Alise exchanged a quick glance, hastily closing the curtains. Alise, unfazed that Auston saw her, was irritated at the lady who abruptly swung the curtains open.
Auston, slightly flustered after glimpsing Alise, overheard a nervous chuckle from the lady behind the curtains. "I noticed your rings; I thought you were husband and wife," she remarked to Alise.
Alise responded, "What does that mean? He could've been a friend or family," with a hint of attitude, prompting the lady, to consider other possibilities.
The Lady, taking offense, retorted, "Who brings guys in here to shop for underwear if you don't have a relationship or something?"
Alise responded assertively, "Do you hear yourself? I'm just picking out underwear; you don't open the curtains on anybody." Addressing her by name, she added, "Khloe, or whatever your name is, get out," her tone carrying clear disapproval.
Onlookers in the store caught wind of the commotion.
