"Father, I made these for you," Evelyn beamed as she showed her father the two malachite cufflinks that she had created for him. "Please wear these."
"Is this the malachite left behind by your mother?" Her father asked as he look a good look at the stones.
"Yes, I made them into cufflinks for you and necklaces for Peggy and me."
"I can't believe you were able to do this. You've come such a long way, Evelyn. Your mother would be proud."
"I still have a decent amount left, but you need to wear these and remember to keep them out to get the moonlight at night."
"Does anyone know that you made these?"
"Yes, Geoffrey does; he went with us and saw. I don't think it will be a problem, do you?" Evelyn asked nervously. She wasn't aware that malachite was actually such a precious stone, but seeing everyone's reactions was starting to put her on edge.
