Evelyn blinked in surprise at Karinag's comment. She was not sure exactly how she knew that she was the protector, but she immediately felt guilty about being out on her own if people could recognize her. "How did you know?" She asked.
"I recognized you from the feast. Also, I was the one that trained Marisolia and she has been here once or twice to ask for guidance in training you," Karinag replied.
Evelyn sighed, "I just feel so frustrated," she admitted. "I am not used to being coached in how to use my magic and I feel like I am letting everyone down."
"Why do you say that?" Karinag asked. "No one expects you to be perfect. These things take time."
"I know," she sighed. "It is just that it is taking me longer than I thought and I do not want to let anyone down."
