Chapter 45 - Chp. 45 New player has joined the fight

The Great Hall was so silent as audience took in the things they watched. The Duke as well as his concubine was pale as they realized what trouble their son has brought to their family.

*BANG!*

"Sister, you and my niece are leaving with me right now!" Darion was a muscle head but he can still understand that the young master of the Dunskirk family has offended not one but three Saints as well as the Royal family.

"*sigh* I'll be ready with my daughter in an hour." The Duchess did not speak more as she too knew that her father would come drag her away if she refused. She lamented how her efforts in making the Dunskirk family a little more reputable drained in one day.

The Duke sat there as he realized the gravity of the situation. Even if the Ancestor could get revenge towards the new Saint they would still face the ire of many as Rollo destroyed the chance for the new saint and the Kingdom to be on good terms.

"M-my lord…" the priest was looking weird as he seem to be hesitating to speak at the moment.

The duchess saw the Duke unresponsive so she waved her hand for the priest to report his findings on the young master. But she did not stay to listen as she walked towards her brother with her daughter.

"My Lord… y-your son is okay, but he… he has lost something important." The priest looked to his side as the Seer also noticed his trepidation.

"I can see my son lost his hand, we can just have an alchemist make a prosthetic one…" the Duke waved his hand weakly as he thought of ways to handle this without the help of the ancestor.

"T-that is not all My lord… the heir seems to be not able to make heirs anymore…" the priest said it vaguely but it made the duchess, Bella and Darion pause as they were near the doors of the Great Hall.

Darion looked back with his sister as they slowly understood what the priest meant. They remembered the bloodied waist of Rollo earlier but they had thought that maybe it was just from the severed hand.

"…" the concubine was stunned with the Duke but they too slowly understood. The Duke hurriedly stood up and made way to his son and checked to goods.

The Duke paled as he realized there was only the one egg left and a stump that already healed shut. With a small hole still visible the Duke looked at the empty space in his son's legs and trembled.

"Ughh…who? It's so early in the morning but a morning blowjob is fine…" this time Rollo roused up from his state and said this as he felt it was the usual things he ordered his slaves to do. His hands instinctively reached out and patted the head of the person in his legs.

"…" The Duke looked up and saw his son wake up as well as patting his hair but from what he said his son has not yet woken up completely and has mistaken him for his slave.

"Heh, what a piece of trash…" Bella muttered in her breath as she heard the words of the older brother of hers.

"Hey, why aren't you starting slave? You're making me wait here…" Rollo frowned as he did not feel his slave start doing her job, so he looked down and was greeted by the face of his father red in anger that was bottling up. He looked eye to eye to his father and sobered up as he looked around seeing the weird eyes around him.

"KYAAAA!!" a sharp high pitched shriek, reminiscent to a teenage girl seeing her idol crush in person, was suddenly heard as Rollo felt a sharp pain in his groin.

"WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK I WAS?!" The Dukes voice reverberated as he finally snapped from the gigantic load of stress his son brought to him.

[Fog Fort, Mogard]

"WE YIELD!!" Sage Bertun shouted to the Tyrant Bear he is fighting and jumped back to show he does not intend to fight anymore as he saw that the adventurers and the soldiers were able to retreat safely into the fort.

"Roar!" the Tyrant Bear roared making the Marsh Poison King stop in his assault on Saint Pettun who was a bit flustered at how numerous the attacks of the Giant frog was and with so many angles to defend from.

"Grrr… Yield? What does that mean?" the bear did not understand it completely as he thought in his mind that yield is to let themselves be eaten as prey.

"It means we do not want to fight anymore, we will go away and not trouble you again." Sage Bertun said as he thought this was the best way he could think of right now to prevent anymore hostilities from continuing.

"You should have said that before attacking one of us!" the Bear growled in anger as he remembered the disrespect the young human did to their fellow Beast Lord.

"We did not mean to! We came here to make friendly connections and the actions of that child are not our will. He was merely a brat that does not understand how the situation is, we do not want any bloodshed at all!" Sage Bertun knew that if they kept fighting and Sage Imelia would help they would still lose.

There were only three of them and five on the other side, Saint Pettun looked like he could not even defeat the Frog Beast Lord. And he was not a front line fighting kind of Sage, sure if he and the other two fight together along with the remaining S-ranked and A-ranked adventurers then they might pull out a tie.

But there are the thousands of Beasts present here as well, so there would be hundreds of casualties. So if he can appease these Beast lords then they might be able to call back these beasts to not fight.

"Lies! I have heard of your people's tendency to deceive us and I is known by all that you will just stab us in the back!" the Tyrant Bear did not believe as he waved his paws and the earth shook as earthen pillars rose and tried to hit the Dwarven Sage.

"I speak truth Beast Lord, but if you do not believe me then let me make a blood oath to prove my words!" Sage Bertun did not retaliate but dodged as he cannot guarantee that he'll be unscathed if he got hit by the pillars.

Marc who was watching was interested at how the Bear used his own amber aura to influence the earth. He did not stop them at all as he watched on the sides acting alert and all but he also let his amber aura seep down into the earth on his feet.

Marc closed his eyes briefly but that was enough for him to feel the connection he has with the earth. He does not know why but he felt like the ground was his personal limbs and that he can do anything he can with them if he wills it.

It was there Marc noticed some things, the Aura of the humans and beasts seem to act very differently. The way aura works for a human is that he can only use it to augment his body and Mana on the other hand was more into being used externally.

Yet the Tyrant Bear seemed to be able to use his Aura for both, it was like an instinctive action but very natural while the human's was more into something that seemed concrete and programmed.

Marc was confused, his aura was vastly different from how the human's aura works. He had tried before, he can use his internally and externally. As his feet felt the vibrations of the earth the more understanding of the element went into his mind.

So seeing how the humans use Mana as he also observed the ones in the Fort defending he saw some use specific patterns and one he was interested on was a spell used by a weaker mage who is only helping on the side.

A young girl who summoned small earth constructs to help carry the supplies like oil and arrows into the parapets. He saw her connection to the small golem and how it worked being a thing controlled by her mind.

Marc had been observing her as the battlefield was full of noise from the Bear roaring and the shockwaves from the confrontation of Pettun and the Frog.

He watched so much that he felt he could also make a golem of his own. His senses locked onto that kid that he studied the way her mana moves and copied that into his mind making him know how to summon one.

But Marc did not do so yet, as he looked up and felt something appearing directly above, he narrowed his eyes as he put in his aura on his pupils which enhanced his vision. From about four kilometers above he could see a colorful portal open and a middle aged man appeared with vibrant clothes.

Just as Marc saw him the guy looked down and had eye to eye contact with Marc. Marc narrowed his eyes as soon as they noticed each other, the Behemoth also looked up and seeing the guy who looked like the representative of the LGBTQ community floating above it snorted.

"Wai-AAAGHHHH!!!" the guy was wide eyed as he noticed the other being that looked towards him and realized he has been locked on. His body suddenly went down on a sudden drop as he felt fifty times heavier.

His shout was noticed as well by Imelia who looked up and saw the person that arrived.

"Sage Fen!" Imelia was shocked as she saw the eccentric Sage that seemed to be everywhere as he like travelling. She never thought he was nearby but when she saw the portal closing behind at the sky she understood.

That guy spent a whopping amount of resources to teleport here making her look towards the Fort where the three triplets were casting spells to drive back the beasts that attempted to climb the walls.

"WAGGHHH!!! SAVE ME!!"
