"I can stay, I'll watch over." Marc volunteered as he at least found a way for them to stop the assault. It was then the other Beast Lords stood up and roared in unison making the hordes of beast stop all together and suddenly retreat.
"LISTEN OUTSIDERS! IF YOU EVER COME BACK TO OUR LANDS THEM WE WILL SHOW YOU OUR FANGS ARE SHARP AND CLAWS READY TO REND YOU TO PIECES!" the Tyrant Bear walked in front and said in a very loud voice echoing all over.
"THIS IS BUT A WARNING FROM US AND IF YOU EVER THINK YOU CAN KILL US ALL THEM WE WILL ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE!" the Tyrant Bear glower Amber as well as the Behemoth, the Spirit Ox Lord, Marc and even the Poison Marsh Lord.
They exuded very thick Earthen aura that made the ground rumble as the beasts hurriedly retreated to their side while leaving the wounded and feral in the battle field.
They did not care much since most of the real underlings of their group had come back. The S-ranked beasts also glowed amber but with a lighter hue than the five in front and the ground churned.
"Everybody take cover!" Bertun was wide eyed as he casted many barriers along with Sage Fen who was a bit star struck at the combined auras of the Beast Lords forming a spell done in unison.
Imelia was also casting wind barriers as she pulled down all the archers and mages atop the cliff while they readied for the attack of the Beast Lords.
But it was then the ground rumbled so hard that it can be considered as a magnitude 8 earthquake. Even the Wildlands behind felt the tremors as an earthen wall suddenly sprouted up two meters per second making the people watch in awe for a few minutes.
The wall stopped at about three hundred meters in height with a thickness of about two hundred meters. Marc and the other Beast Lords were a bit tired after that as they just pulled a thirty kilometer earthen wall together from the ground.
Then the Frog Beast Lord croaked and green mana came out of him and vines grew all over further strengthening the structure. Marc made sure to handle the designing the wall, since their auras synergized he could send out a thought message to all of the Beast Lords.
Marc had them see an image of a well-structured wall with his imagination, when he was learning how to draw he at least knew how to draft carious blueprints of buildings and learned some engineering fundamentals thus the wall appeared to be modernly designed like a Dam.
The Beast Lords were a bit confused but went with it and found that the design was indeed sturdier when it came out. The vines then creeped in the hollow holes Marc had left so it would act as the skeleton of the structure.
Soon the vines hardened by the will of the Poison Marsh Lord, then the Spirit Ox Lord's horn shone making light shine down on the recently made structure forming a protective blessing using its innate talent in Light Element magic.
Only the innate abilities of beast use Mana as they too exist in them but only to be sued for specific abilities. It is not like the humans and other humanoid species who are versatile and could learn various elements and different spell variations.
Most spells were derived from the Beasts' innate skills but they are not as strong. Pros and Cons come and go for the different species, Marc was an exception because he is uniquely placed in between even if he does not know it.
The Wall finished but it was no as tall as the cliffs in front of itwhich is about 420 meters yet it is much sturdier and it is going to be Marc's territory. It is even above the fog for about 60 meters, thus they can see what is happening below.
They can see the eyes of the people down there wide eyed a the structure built two kilometers away from the fog cliffs, this would soon to be called the Beast Walls. What Marc did not know is that the Fog spell that stayed in this land for generations had been lifted and is slowly parting away.
It is because it was the first time ever that Beast Lords used a combined effort to make something, usually they do not mingle with each other but Marc's presence changed that.
Because of the translation of the Tyrant Bear he was able to convince the Lazy Beast Lords into taking action for the first time. And it resulted in the spell that was embedded in the land to be broken as the efforts of five Saint level beings were able to overpower the initial ancient spell.
But Marc did not know that, as his mind right now is how he could ever handle this very long wall but his mind thought about the recent additions to his town, the monkeys.
"Say, any chance that any of you could command that apes that live in the wildlands? If you can please give the rights to control them to me?" He was not sure if they even have something like that but he asked anyways.
The Tyrant Bear frowned a bit as he translated while the others croaked and mooed as they conversed. The Tyrant Bear nodded and looked at Marc while the Behemoth called again towards the wildlands.
"Normally there is no one able to command the apes but since you are making a sacrifice for us to have a peaceful life then we will help in making the small monkeys work for you. The apes are out of the conversation though since the ruler of the fire hills are in control of them." Tyrant Bear said making Marc nod since the Fire Octorilla really does command most of the Pae like creatures in the Wildlands.
"Also we have come into conclusion that since you do not look for territorial wars and even took this responsibility then your lands in the borders will not be touched. But if you issue a challenge we will not back down, if maybe you want to fight after the raining Season." Tyrant Bear said as he conveyed the other Beast Lords' thoughts.
"I see, it is that time again huh?" Marc was totally curious about this raining Season that forces almost the entire beast in the Wildlands into Hibernation.
That was the time when he arrived before, two months after every wave there would be the raining Season that would last for a year in this lands. Strangely in time to when the ones in the dungeon Marc now owned died, he was not sure if they were related to each other though.
During this times the Beasts are in Hibernation said Lady Janice when they were in this place as before. It was also dangerous for others to get in because the border part of the Wildlands would be flooded thus it would be hard to trudge over the marshes making people easy prey to the Poison Marsh Lord.
Only this guy and the Snake Lord are active in this season but still will not go out of their territory. The only pathway is a narrow road that leads straight towards Marc's territory which is just a forest devoid of Beast to hunt.
This also became a grace period for the people down south to take reprieve from the recent Wave. Marc looked at the vast wall while the Beast Lords took their leave since in their minds this matter is already done.
Marc looked at Bacon who still has the recently freed slaves making him thoughtful if he should really just return them. But he shook his mind as he needed them for something else as he thought about the dungeon where there is at least two million residents right now cheering as they had gotten free from the fear of the Void swallowing them.
Marc looked down and saw that the fort was still fighting the remnant Beast, he was then locking eyes with the other Saints and Sages who were watching up as well.
It was then thousands of screeches and cries were heard as various monkey beast came up the wide are atop the wall and formed behind him waiting his verdict.
Most beast are smart enough to understand that they need an Alpha to lead them but the group of monkeys in the Wildlands never had that as they were the one of the weakest groups inside.
Best they could have was an A-rank Variant Spider Monkey or a +A-ranked Vicious Mandrill but that was not enough to get a wide area in the wildlands. Now all of these monkeys were called by the Beast Lords here to serve a Beast Lord that wanted to take them into his herd.
Ten A-ranked monkeys moved forward the crowed and bowed towards Marc as they felt his beastly presence screaming Beast Lord. They were not sure what king of Monkey Marc is thought but they were glad someone would take them into his fold.
Marc looked back and saw the various human sized monkeys, Three Spider Monkeys(5'5" in height and has two tails and four arms), Two Mandrills(6'9", 3x body mass than the normal ones), One Emperor Tamarin(4'3" in height and has a meter long mustache), One Howler Monkey(5'7" with a rather fit physique), two chunky golden snubbed nosed monkeys(5'2" and a bit fluffy) and a Marmoset(4'2" height and looks like the Pygmy Marmoset).
Marc was staring them down as they shivered unsure what to do as they were all called to answer to the Beast Lord that will live in this wall. They smiled but Marc remembered that Monkeys only smile like this if they want to appear submissive.
Though not sure if that was the case here but he just gave them his pressure as he showed his hand to them making the closest one show its palm while looking down the ground. Marc felt this was them submitting to him thus he left it at that as he watched the battle below end.
