In the Wide Hall Marc made he sat on his throne-like seat made of Skulls of his prey, the eyes of the group as well as the assassins were wide eyed as they identified the skulls in the throne.
Wildland Mountain Wolf A-Class, a troublesome beast since they always hunt in packs. Had been seen bold enough to hunt S-Class Beast with a group of at least a dozen wolves.
Thunder Eagle +A-Class, very dangerous and deadly that most victims could only hear the cry of the eagle seconds before they die. Their feathers shake as they fly that it produces enough static electricity to send most prey into shock as they dive down to pierce you with their metallic talons killing you in the direct electric shock to your body as well as burning up your insides.
Steep Cliff Blood Hawks A-Class, though smaller than the Thunder Eagle it makes up for the lack in size with speed. A very formidable enemy as you would be dead before you even know it from the speed of the dive the hawks do to suddenly slice you with their razor sharp wings.
Woodland Dragon +A-class, a flightless fireless dragon but was known to have very strong hides that spears and ballistae are known to have been shrugged off by the beast. (Looks like a gigantic Megalania 2.5 meters tall foot to shoulder and 15 m long, 8 meters of that is mostly the tail.)
The Silent Death Bird +A-Class, a three meter tall barn owl that always hunts in the night with its 10-13 meters wide wingspan and no one could hear it's approach even if you bring the skilled Wood elves of the Elven Forest City.
Marsh Blood Hounds ++B-Class, not that over strong but has a bite that could even damage S-Class monsters and always hunt in large groups. (Looks like a two meter tall paw to shoulder Hyena without the spots)
Deep River Dragon S-Class, called a dragon but for Marc it was a 20 meter long three meter Crocodile with horns on its nose and head. A variant one since the horn grew on the snout when most of its species only has the horns on its head.
The Jungle Prowler A-Class, a horse sized Puma-like feline. One ton of murder kitty, need more explanation?
River Demon A-Class, 15 meter long Dunkleosteus. Marc was able to even melt the plating since it was purely metallic plates. He was not sure how that came to be but it gave him metal that he felt was like stainless steel. But with only the Skull they can still tell.
Three Dotted Venom Lord +A-Class, only as strong as a B-class monster but it is a very venomous spider the size of a small van. It has a distinct mark of three red dots on its back that made Marc aware it was venomous as it reminded him of the black widow.
Double Horned Viper +A-Class, 30 meter long green Viper with two devil like horns on its head. Has one of the most expensive leather to acquire as they looked like polished jade once they are made into armor or trinkets.
And lastly the Rug they were now walking on was made from another Tyrant Bear but this one was white meaning it was a Tyrant Bear that lived in the Tundra further north. Still S-class but larger and taller than the normal Tyrant Bear.
But Marc did not make it into a cloak since the black fur of the first one accentuates the Golden Armor he made. Now he sat in the throne looking over to the people he brought back.
Seeing him silent the assassins were shivering in fear as they had realized they were now in the lair of someone they could not afford to offend.
But the first to react was the Nobel Lady as she knelt down in front of Marc and followed by the other people behind her. He did not understand this so he just gestured with his hands to stand up.
"Elder Rooster, take these people to the separate compound and the others here are to be put in the Pit." Marc said to the old rooster that nodded. Seeing this the people were surprised at him talking to the rooster.
"Great, now they'll see me as someone crazy since I talk to the chickens." Marc said as he took off his helmet and pinched the middle of his nose.
The others were surprised to see a normal human face with long black hair with a few signs of greying on his hair by his temples. His beard also seemed to be gray but not yet obvious.
Though Marc was sure he did not change for the past ten years he stayed here. He already had greying hair when he was in the military, his nickname was even Old Man from their commanding officers even when his face was quite youthful.
[The Next day]
"Bwarkrack!!"
"AGHH!!" the maids and the lady screamed along with some knights sleeping nearby as they were suddenly woken up by the call of the elder rooster.
"Wha-what the hell….urghh…" the lady groaned as she had felt she was dreaming a good one in her sleep but the sight of the Cockatrice made her sober up. She remembered she was now in an infamous place all over the world and she could not get her head in how relaxed she had been sleeping in such a dangerous place.
Somehow she could understand what the old beast was gawking about and she too freshened up to follow the old rooster.
It was then they were led to a building where a delicious smell wafted over to their noses and there they were greeted with dozens of Roosters sitting down while pecking on Bowls.
There they could see the kitchen like place behind the dining area and was amazed at a group of hens cooking besides a fire. Their tools were held using their beaks and they worked in pairs.
They even have pans and woks that are being tossed by one Hen then another hen holds a ladle on its beaks to stir the food being cooks.
Lady Harleigh was looking around with her servants as they marveled at the work of the chickens.
"Cwarck! Bwarackack!!" the old rooster looked to the kitchen and another old rooster answered as it looked out the window eyeing the visitors.
"Croackka!!" the old Rooster in an apron counted the visitors and went back to the back part where some food were stored.
"Quarack!" the Old rooster gestured for Lady Harleigh and the others to sit in a table. There they waited as they watch the old chef rooster appeared with a bunch of sausages in its beak and some round hams.
There they saw how another hen took a large pan with some Bread that was freshly baked. Marc was able to make some when he found something similar to Wild Rice, so he was able to make some flour for bread.
This made Marc make more Tree Gardens to cultivate the wild rice but these ones have given Marc a lot of work to make as he needed to make a rice field on top of the trees. Thankfully the trees were large and strong so he made a few paddies for the wide rice.
There they saw the old chef take a large knife with his beaks and quickly sliced the bread like a Master Swordsman. Then it weaved his head so fast that the knights were only able to see afterimages then the sausages and ham were now sliced.
Then the old rooster put down the knife to get a jar with oil in it, then poured some on a hot flat metal plate where the rooster then started to stir fry the sausages while the hams were put on a slightly hot side to slowly cook.
Then the rooster walked back to get some greens to lightly fry along with some tomato-like fruit slices to heat along with the sliced bread.
There they then saw another hen place plates near the work station of the Rooster and then they saw the rooster deftly handle a Spatula to toss the bread, tomato looking like fruit, ham, sausage and the greens into the plate making a sandwich.
But before the rooster placed the last slice of bread on top he took another bottle with oil and drizzled it on the sandwich.
Lady Harleigh and the others were wide eyed as they had just witnessed an A-Class Beast cook food for them.
If anybody wanted to brag they could say this experience in the future and make others gawk at their experience.
Shortly the good smelling sandwich was now served in front of the guest making them unsure what to do.
"Crawck?" they heard the concerned caw of the old rooster making them realize every rooster and hens were looking at them in the building.
"Uhmm, thank you for the food."
