"Eugene..." Isabelle called out in frustration.
"Hehe, I'm sorry, my dear," Eugene chuckled. "So, what's your plan, my love?" Eugene asked gently.
"Let me into your company," Isabelle said casually, playing with her fingers.
"No, that's too dangerous, my love. I don't want anything to happen to you," Eugene strongly opposed Isabelle's desire to enter his office.
"Ugh," Isabelle rolled her eyes, irritated by Eugene's exaggerated concern. She couldn't help but find his overprotectiveness a bit suffocating at times.
Eugene, on the other hand, seemed genuinely worried about Isabelle's well-being. "I just don't want you to push yourself too hard," he replied with a concerned look. "You've been through a lot lately, and I don't want to see you burn out."
