Alex was frantically searching for Isabelle. He had been trying to reach Isabelle and Nathan, but their numbers were always out of reach.
Alex picked up his phone and dialed Layton's number.
"Hello, boss?" someone answered on the other end.
"Layton, come to my apartment now, and bring Sebastian and Reid with you. You have 10 minutes to get to my apartment," Alex said before abruptly ending the call.
Alex paced back and forth, waiting for his friends who hadn't arrived yet.
"Where are they? They better not be late. In 5 minutes, I..."
Alex's words were cut off as he heard a knock on the door.

Alex clenched his fists, glaring at his friend as if he wanted to swallow him whole.
"Don't be angry, boss. The traffic was terrible," Reid said, nodding along with his two friends.
"Alright, come in quickly. This is urgent."
The three of them entered Alex's apartment and sat on the sofa.
