Jin Ho slowly opens his eyes. he shakes his head a bit like he was forcing himself to get up
'Auch' his head felt heavy
'I drink too much last night' he thought to himself. He notices that he is in his bed.
'At least, I went back to my room' As he thought about this, he wanted to reach to his phone but then he touches something silky and something squishy
Something he felt very familiar but also a sensation that he long had never felt and he immediately remember where he felt such thing and so…he quickly removes his hand.
'Oh God.' He thought in his mind.
He then realizes that he is not wearing any clothes.
His face pales
He looks beside her and then looking at him, with the same expression of puzzlements and confusion is Na Eun.
She looks at him and with a face beet red like a strawberry she asks him
'Jin Ho. What did we do last night?'

Seated by the window with her warm cup of coffee, Seung Ah gazed out at the snowflakes gently descending from the grey winter sky.
The city below was bustling with the hum of cars navigating the snow-covered streets, their tires creating a soft, rhythmic symphony.
The cold air enveloped her, and a wistful sigh escaped her lips.
Taking a sip of her coffee, she glanced at her phone, anticipation in her eyes.
She had been waiting, hoping for a call, for a message, for anything from him.
Yet, as the minutes passed, her smile transformed into a bitter one, an expression that held the weight of unspoken disappointment.
'Na Eun. What are you thinking about?' A woman sat down on the seat. Na Eun looks at her friend and she simply smile and spoke
'Nothing'
Seung Ah frowned.
But she did not say anything. Unlike Na Eun that likes her coffee hot, Seung Ah likes her drinks cold.
Even in winter.
She drinks it slowly and then said
'You're going to work tomorrow?'
Na Eun shakes her head
'You're going to Jin Ho house?'
'Hmm' she nodded.
Seung Ah was about to say something but then she only sighed. Na Eun only smiles because she knows what Seung Ah is going to say.
So, they only drink in silence.
Then Seung Ah suddenly said
'Unni. When will you set me up with some guy?' she said and Na Eun look at her and then roll her eyes.
'I learn from my mistakes' she said.
'What's that supposed to mean?'
'The last time I set you up with my senior, what did you do?'
'I was late'
'I know. It is not your fault. But it made it awkward for me to meet him again. You know, that we need connection to succeed. This friend of yours doesn't have many connections. And the few I have is very precious'
'Jin Ho is rich. Why don't you ask him to invest? Knowing the weird relationship between you two, he probably would lend a few billion won'
Na Eun expression shifted, and she shot a stern glance at Seung Ah, who quickly backtracked, saying, "Fine, fine. I won't mention him anymore."
With a roll of her eyes and a shake of her head, Seung Ah concluded, "Sheesh."
Seung Ah flashed a mischievous grin as she continued her matchmaking campaign. "Maybe you should introduce me to Hyun Seung oppa?" she suggested.
Na Eun, however, was quick to shut down that idea. "Nuh-uh. He is the only friend that Jin Ho and I share together," she explained, shaking her head.
Seung Ah pouted playfully, knowing she wouldn't get her way this time. "You're so stingy with your connections," she teased, taking another sip of her iced drink.
Seung Ah had always possessed an ethereal beauty that turned heads wherever she went.
Her innocent appearance, characterized by a small face, big sparkling eyes, and a slim, graceful figure, made her look eternally youthful.
Despite being a few years younger than Na Eun, she seemed almost ageless since their college days.
However, there is a common misconception about her.
Many assumed that Seung Ah was highly experienced in matters of love and dating due to her stunning looks and charming demeanour.
In reality, she was quite the opposite.
Seung Ah had never been in a serious relationship or dated anyone.
During her college years, Seung Ah had been the belle of the campus, capturing the hearts of countless admirers.
Men aspired to date her, while women envied her.
She is like an exquisite flower on a lofty peak, appearing unattainable to most.
But those who were close to her, like Na Eun, knew the truth – behind her beauty, Seung Ah had never truly experienced love or embarked on a romantic journey.
Yet, beneath her stunning exterior, Seung Ah harboured a quiet, introverted side.
She found solace in the simple joys of life, such as collecting small toys and indulging in video games.
To the casual observer, particularly in a professional setting, it would be challenging to imagine that the elegant and composed Seung Ah had such unconventional hobbies and quirks.
she possessed a unique and eccentric charm that set her apart from the crowd, a delightful blend of beauty and idiosyncrasies.
And she is a bit weird.
Na Eun couldn't help but notice the peculiarities that defined her circle of friends.
Each one seemed to possess a unique quirk that set them apart from the ordinary.
First, there was Jin Ho, whose life appeared to be governed by extraordinary luck, making even the most improbable scenarios work in his favor.
Then, there was Hyun Seung, an individual of exceptional qualities and discerning standards. Seung Ah added a touch of ethereal beauty and innocence to the group.
In the midst of this eclectic mix, Na Eun couldn't help but feel like the most grounded and "normal" one among them.
As Na Eun gazed out at the falling snow, a sense of melancholy settled over her.
The years had slipped by almost imperceptibly, and she found herself still waiting for a call that would never come from the one person who truly mattered to her.
"I think I should end this one-sided love" she thought to herself
Here she is, waiting for a number that would not ring.
From that person.
'I wonder if all these years, there was even a moment….' She did not finish her thought.
All those years, Na Eun had crafted countless excuses, but the words he had spoken to her so long ago still echoed in her mind.
They had created an invisible barrier, holding her back from taking the leap she so desperately longed for.
She feared that breaking the silence might shatter the fragile connection they had preserved over time.
'This is not bad. Maybe…this is enough' she thought to herself.
She is a woman that don't know how to love. The only way to protect herself from pain is inflicting pain to the one that she loves.
It seems she did not change at all. It seems that age is not a measurement of maturity after all, she thought in her mind.
But even though she may not know how to love, if it's the pain of loving someone, then she is quite familiar with it
Repeating the days, speaking the same thing, just to continue the story of them that is filled with contradiction….it is time to end her unrequited love.
She sighed and Seung Ah could see that Na Eun is thinking about something again.
She did not say anything to Na Eun.
She did not understand the relationship between Jin Ho and Na Eun and so she did not dare give any advice.
Na Eun then breaks away from her thoughts.
As the snowflakes continued their gentle descent from the sky, the two friends engaged in their usual conversations.
Na Eun had always been the quieter one among them, often listening more than speaking.
It was Seung Ah who usually filled the air with her lively chatter, effortlessly carrying the weight of their conversations.
Seung Ah's concerns often revolved around finding a suitable man, not just for herself but for the sake of her mother's expectations.
Unlike Na Eun, Seung Ah hailed from a wealthy family.
However, she had chosen to follow a different path from the one her family had laid out for her, opting to help Na Eun with their startup, Circle.
Despite her complaints about her parents, Seung Ah had a deep affection for her family, and they reciprocated that love.
Sometimes, Na Eun couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy when she observed the warm relationship Seung Ah shared with her family.
Not before long, it is evening and Na Eun and Seung Ah quickly parted ways.
Seung Ah would probably go back home and play some games or write some romance fiction.
If some people know that the Vice President of Circle is an otaku like person, they probably could not reconcile such image with Seung Ah
