Gabriel studied Daniel for a while and he could see the raw love reflected in his gaze, a love that mirrored Emma's own.
He finally let out a heavy sigh after staring at both of them for a long moment.
"I hope you mean that Daniel. Just remember, my daughter's happiness is all that matters to me. Hurt her again, and you'll answer to me." he warned sternly and Daniel though shocked at how fast they convinced Gabriel still nodded firmly.
"I won't disappoint you, sir!" He said firmly.
"That doesn't mean I trust you completely though but Emma is a grown woman and if this is what she truly wants then I..." He started to say but ended with a sigh, as he trailed off unable to complete the sentence.
Emma knew he still didn't completely accept their reunion but it was a start.
"Dad, you really have nothing to worry about. Daniel has changed, he's different from the man who hurt me before." She looked back at Daniel, her eyes filled with love.
