Daniel stared at Ash intensely, his sweaty palm balled up into a fist.
If he wasn't wrong, the lady he saw in his weird vision was Emma.
The woman who had been tormenting him in his subconscious ever since they parted ways suddenly appeared in his visions, making him more confused than he was before.
'It must be because I usually see Emma in my dreams a lot. That's why I thought the lady I saw looked like her. Yes, that must be it.' Daniel mused as he tore his gaze away from Ash.
He let his eyes fall on his still black coffee which having lost its steam, now resembled a dark mirror perfectly mirroring his emotional turmoil.
As Daniel recalled the moment when Ash kissed 'Emma' on the back of her hand, he felt a sudden surge of anger.
"Damn it!" He muttered, his balled fist hitting the edge of the table before him.
Ash, caught off guard, exchanged a puzzled glance with Lucas, "Daniel, are you alright?"
