Ether who was cooking something in the kitchen came out.
"I have some important news to tell you as well as some matters that I need your opinion on." Asterion said before both of them settled on the edge of bed.
"First of all, that maid, Hallie, is in contact with one of my cousins, Aenon. And it could be a sure possibility that he might be planning to fight for the crown against me." Asterion said.
"Aenon's level?" Ether asked.
"Recently entered level five water cultivator." Asterion explained.
"But he won't be able to fight you head on, hence he decided to poison you and attack you at your lowest." Ether understood the strategy but still had a doubt.
"But he should know that Marcus stands in his path as well. In fact if he was to remove you, won't it be easier for Marcus to climb the throne?" Ether asked.
"That should be the case, but there is more to Aenon's story." Asterion paused before explaining.
