Chapter 6 - Ghost!

4,500,062,059 years later. The present

'Argh, where am I...its so dark.

'Ha'. He sighed in relief. 'I'm just in a tree park'. All these thoughts were going through his head before his body caught his attention.

"Shit!". He said aloud before continuing in his thoughts. 'Why is my body faded...in fact, where is my body'. He was so confused.

'I wasn't supposed to be a ghost when I wake up, anyways, what I need now is a body'. The man said before he started scanning the park.

Marcus, as always, is jogging from his house to his mum's restaurant and back. This particular night was weird and Marcus could feel it. Even though almost everyday was weird for him, because of his strange ability, which was kind of a curse to him, he still felt that today was different. When he reached the tree park, the weird feeling got stronger, so he quickened his pace.

'My house is half a mile away, this should get over soon'. He thought.

'Ah great! Someone is coming. And something feels good about him'. The man said inwardly. 'Time to get to business'.

Marcus suddenly stopped as he saw something drop from a tree and landed a few steps in front of him.

'Shit! Why! Why again...I thought these things stopped'. Marcus screamed in his head as he saw a ghost. Marcus had stopped jogging at night because of his ability to see and interact with ghosts. He continued jogging some days earlier because he didn't see ghost for the past month. 'And now...a ghost is standing in front of me right now'. That was the last thing his mind screamed before feeling a sharp pain, he realised that the ghost had disappeared as he slowly lost control of his senses.

The man had planned on slowly possessing the boy so the boy won't feel any pain during the process. But when he landed in front of him, the man noticed something.

'Ah! he can see me'. The man noticed in frustration and acted in panic by immediately possessing the boy. ' That would have hurt'. The man said after gaining control of Marcus' body.

Marcus continued the jog home, no longer in control.
