Chi Yue waited in a place without the slightest sound.
It was eerily quiet.
She knew the trial had started, but she couldn't see anyone else, had no idea what stage it had reached, and had no idea what those people would say at the trial.
The room was dimly lit,
her gaze somewhat hollow as she stared at the lamp.
"Chi Yue!" someone called her.
Chi Yue stood up, understanding that it was her turn to testify.
Gathering her breath, she walked out composedly, guided by the bailiffs, into the courtroom.
"Sigh!?"
There was a faint sigh, but no one spoke.
As everyone watched her, Chi Yue calmly walked to the witness stand.
Coming in from the outside through a long corridor, the lighting was dim, but once inside the courtroom, the lights were blazingly bright. It took Chi Yue several seconds to adjust to the change in lighting before she looked towards the defendant's bench.
