After killing both beasts, my mind was at ease. It kind of felt a bit too comical, though, seeing as I struggled to kill just one beast a few days ago yet here I was with two dead beasts at my feet.
Apparently, the bear-like beast was called a Vexira Ironclaw, while the wolf-like beast was called a Furyfang. This information, however, was from the system. Apart from all that, there was quite a bunch of stuff in front of my eyes at the moment.

Do you wish to use Skill points?
Yes. No.
'No. I'll use the skill points later.' I moved as I thought this. The system showed that the beast crystals from both beasts had already been obtained, but I guess I just wanted to be sure.
I swiftly arrived beside the Vexira Ironclaw, and with my dagger tore open the throat. I put my hand right through and located the position where the crystal ought to be.
'As expected. There is no extra crystal. Huu.. what was I even thinking, hoping for a free beast crystal?' I scolded myself after getting such an expected result. 'Well, it won't hurt to check the other beast too, right?'
I moved and repeated the same motions to the Furyfang, getting the same result. I sighed and immediately dropped down out of tiredness. If this was what I would be doing now, I really needed to have a schedule.
I remembered my reason for wanting to become powerful, and it seemed to be motivation enough as I moved my body and stood up. I looked around me and noticed another problem. How the hell was I going to carry two magical beast corpses back home?
Magical beast corpses were very useful. Special parts of magical beasts could be used to make armour, weapons, etc., but I had no idea which parts these special parts were - knowing would have made my job a lot easier.
Imade a mental note to take into consideration learning these things when I got back. But for now, I needed a solution to the problem of transporting my haul. Looking at all this gave me even more motivation to get stronger quicker. I believe the system mentioned something about a storage once I got to level 5. I can't wait to see what that entails.
I walked out of the cave, only to see that the sun already shew signs of breaking through the forest canopy. It seemed I had been busy for the whole of the night.
'Crap! Father and the others would be worried. They probably already sent out, like a few teams to come find me. I have to hurry back to tell him I'm fine.' Realising what this meant got me a bit worked up. I steeled my resolve and began to look around.
Sometime later, I found thick tree ropes. I cut up a bunch of them with my dagger and dragged them to the cave. These things were really too heavy. Wonder if I'll even be able to carry the two magical beast corpses with my strength. Leaving any of the corpses behind would be a bad idea, because by the time I get back, it could have become food for some other beast.
I traced my steps and finally returned to the scene of the battle. Still bloody, it seemed like it could give a little kid nightmares for days on end. I shoved unnecessary thoughts out of my mind and got to work.
I took the tree ropes and spread them on the ground, intersecting them in a way that I formed a net out of it through cross section and weaving. After this, I managed to drag the beast corpses one a time into the net. They weren't all that heavy alone. Together however, I would be sure to regret trying.
Moreover, the tree ropes were also naturally heavy when carrying a lot of them, and since I required quite a number to create my net... The resulting weight was not something to joke about. I could barely move the net as it was full.
Suddenly, an idea struck my mind. I swiftly organised my thoughts as soon as I thought of this.
'System, allocate the three skill points into the Strength stat.' This was my big idea, increase my strength. In the end, it was strength I needed to carry this net, right? So why not increase the strength.
Currently, my strength was around five points. I got the system when I had three points worth of strength. I levelled up twice, therefore adding two stat. points to strength. If five points could barely move it, there was a pretty good chance that eight points would do a hell of a lot better.
Do you wish to allocate 3 skill points into Strength?
Yes. No.
'Yes.'
Confirmed.

That familiar dark red screen once again gave me an overview of all my stats.
'Magic Essence seemed to have increased. That would mean it gets replenished, no?' I looked at the details on the screen for a while before concentrating back on the task at hand. 'I really hope this works.'
I gathered the mouth of the net into a bunch of tree ropes and strapped it over my shoulder so I could drag the net along as I walked. This way would be a lot easier since I couldn't outright carry the net.
I moved with all my strength, gritting my teeth and holding a faint hope that this system would prove itself and stop me from doubting it in the future. But with hope comes doubt, and deep in my heart, was a little bit of doubt. Though small, it did exist and I couldn't escape that fact.
Contrary to my expectations, as soon as I pulled with my might, I almost fell over. This was because the net became significantly lighter, making all my doubts be crushed in an instant.
I moved steadily through the tunnels and rejoiced in my heart as I headed on home. This system's usefulness could really not be stressed this time around.
