Diamond found her way back to the room, and saw Rowan standing by the door as usual.
"He does hate spicy food, and raising his appetite and shredding it afterwards is like piercing his heart with a spear."
"Thanks for the heads up, but it came rather too late." Diamond said uninterested.
Rowan opened the door, moved out of the way, and shut it back just when Diamond was in.
Diamond moved over to chaise longue where Xander sat and stood in front of him. He had a stony expression on.
"Xander." She cooed. "I'm sorry. I didn't know you didn't like spicy food. I'm really sorry for spoiling your mood."
"Xander heaved a sigh and stood up. "It's fine. I'm sorry for my outburst, I shouldn't have lashed out on you the way I did. Like you said, you didn't know."
"But it wasn't that spicy when I prepared it, I think....."
"Forget about the food. I already told Rowan to tell the maids to prepare me something else."
