I excuse myself as I go prepare the said coffee. Still wondering if Antonio is planning to drag us too in his all nighter.
I Was surely not ready for this.
This was far from my plan for the night.
But as I got myself involved with a syndicate family, I should always be ready for anything
I stand close to the door for a while just to eavesdrop and find out what their conversation might be about as soon as I'm out of sight.
I shouldn't take long in preparing coffee because I know David would come looking for me if I took longer than expected. As soon as I hear them talking about David's performance as the acting Don, I leave.
I was expecting that they would immediately talk about me. But seeing as that's not the case, I head for the kitchen before they can have more time and put me at the center of their conversation while I'm far away.
