"Mother, let me go." Scarlet squirmed and lowered her body in a move to escape the tight hold both parents had on her.
"I don't wanna." Mega with her quick fingers grabbed Scarlet by the shoulders and hugged her again, forcefully.
"Dad, talk some sense into her." Scarlet whined.
It seemed to have slipped her mind that he was actively involved in the hugging. The only difference was that he had loosened his hold a bit.
"I am going to be late for the press conference." Scarlet reminded them.
"You are already late." Carolyn told her.
"That's because you guys are hogging me and keeping me here." She stiffened her body and surrendered. Her mother had her eyes closed and weirdly enough, she was sniffing Scarlet's hair.
"Alex, inform speaker Blad to tell professor Sham that he can begin the press conference." She said, with a final surrender in her voice.
