That perfect girl is gone~

Here I stand in the light of day~

Let the storm rage on~

The cold never bothered me anyway~

After a splendid performance by your one and only, next up on our hit list is Lonely by Akon...

I dont know how long I've been here. But I've probably gone just slightly insane. After all, it does suck quite abit with no external stimuli.

But of course the moment I think external stimuli, a wave of 'weight' wrapped around me. But the thing that brought a tear to my face was the warmth that radiated from it. All though weighted it also gave me a sense of freedom, like a shield against the cold void. This sensation felt so foreign that if I didn't run mental health tests every so often I probably would have been lost to what I was feeling. The warmth clashed against the cold inside me and drove it away, bringing me to a new level of comfort that I didn't know existed.

"So how you doin."

I opened my eyes for the first time in an indescribable amount of time. In a space where the floor is white, the sky is black and.. and it's not. My eyes kept telling me that the ground is white but it's not, a sense of disconnect like it's not the floor that's white but the sky and vice versa.

Infront of me, standing in place with me is a man, being, thing. Honestly it is a man, but after being in the void for so long my senses could single out the oddity in 'him'. Wearing a yellow walmart smily shirt, tan cargo shorts with a utility belt around his waist and tall white socks with black sneakers. His non-remarkable appearance dulled my reaction to him, brown-black hair, brown eyes and field tanned skin.

"You know you could say hi to me, I did just save your whole existance."

Yeah I'm not going to be doing any of the talking, he might have saved me but it doesn't mean that I just suddenly change how i feel about how troublesome verbal communication is.

"I get yah, I don't like talking to strangers to yah know. But it comes with the job of being an 'omnipotent' being. Stressing the omnipotent abit".

Well shit, he can read my mind.

"Yah oh shit, I can read your mind," a disgusted smirk being shot my way.

"I'm surprised though, usually when something is tossed out like you did it usually kinda cease's to exist. Guess it's cause your just so special."

Special, guess I could be with how much I feel about social interactions.

"Yeah that's not how you were supposed to be."

Huh, well that's kinda rude. Almost like saying 'ur a wizard arry, a stupid one but still, a wizard'.

"I, I don't really know where that analogy fits here but I'll explain what happened to you. Cause you know, I'm nice and all that stuff."

It pretty obvious I died, I am in a round about way talking to a Random Omnipotent Being that just showed up in this void.

"So you didn't die. You don't know this but the world you lived in, it had deeper roots than what you could see. You lived in a world with a plot."

Oh, ok.

"Yeah I had a feeling that you didn't really care. You don't know this but when you were in like the 3rd grade you met the son of heaven, or the protagonist if you prefer as the term. Yah see things were supposed to go along with the plot, he gets popular, your crush falls for him, he shows how great of a kid he was and you'll get jealous and angry that your crush wanted him. But that didn't happen. When you were created for the plot, the 'author' didn't put any thought about how early on you were supposed to feel. So it never happened, and because it never happened you never were slotted into the villain role at all. You just had no reason, so if you want to blame someone you can blame the creator of your world."

Well fuck. I didn't really see that coming. I mean really, so the reason I feel like this is because of some godly being that fucked up his plot because he forgot to put a gear into the music box.

"Yeah, so you were supposed to become like a big villain and go about being yah know, all villain like with the plot. But because you didn't care about the girl or the protagonist, he didn't care about you. Shit you weren't even supposed to be in America. In the original plot you were supposed to move to China because of a job promotion your dad got. But with him and your mom worrying about your social inadequacy they declined it and you stayed state side. In China you were going to become friends with the local scions of the wealthy families in the area. Then later on in college your good ol pal the protagonist was going to arrive in town and over time slowly take what you garnered for himself. He was supposed to get your sister as well into his harem but your parents didn't even try to get you a sibling with how much they focused on you. After years of you not being in the plot and how much the protagonist struggled to get a foot hold in the city he finally got his chance and though he missed some opportunities he turned out just fine according to the plot."

From there I'm guessing that the plot or god didn't need me around anymore and just what? Casted me away?

"Yep, then you ended up here. In a good place I like to call from Norse mythology the Ginnunagagap. The space between realms. You literally got yeeted here while you were asleep."

Why the heck is a ROB just floating around in the Ginnunagagap? Also what now, you gonna pull a truck-kun and isekai my ass?

"Hahahaha, yeah no. Reincarnation is more my forte. Honestly I didn't expect anything to be floating out here, I typically visit this place every blue moon just to see what weird shit got tossed out here. Once a space god accidentally tossed his wallet out here when he was trying to create a pocket dimension to carry his shit. Don't tell anyone but I sold that thing to an enemy of his and he lost his identity in the world he was in. Dude just started getting tons of letters in the mail asking him to pay off credit card debts that he signed up for. Hahaha."

I dont really know how to feel about this, so how long have I been drifting around here.

"Eh, roughly 19,200 earth years. Enough of that, let's get to the good stuff."

Looking at him he didn't seem like much, but for some reason when he said that a shiver of dread and something I can't describe ran itself down my spine.

"I present to you, the one and only... Drum roll please... Gacha spin roulette!!! This dandy thing will determine what world you will be going to, your abilities or chances in that life and the like. So without any further adieu lets... let's... yo, you ok bro?"

I could feel it, the experiences of my past clawing there way into my mind. The cocktail of emotions overwhelming me to the point of traumatization. I had to physically and emotionally disconnect myself from this trap, but I always came back. Now it's here, reeling me in again with the potential of getting something good, or something terrible.

"Ew, gross, the the fuck is wrong with you. I've done this multiple time to different people but your the worst I've seen. It's honestly giving me a headache just glimpsing this, this thing. Bro, you need a breather or something?"

No, I've long since surpassed this 'game' I can do it, I can do it!

"Well when your ready just give it a spin. Your first spin will be where your going. Ima sit down for abit."

I walked over to the giant wheel, the roulette built like a vegas wheel. The words on the wheel seemed kinda blurred like they were in motion but shifting weirdly. Clapping my hands together in prayer and ritual of good luck. With a sign of unease I grabbed the wheel and spun it has hard as I could. The words a previous blur came to life and I could read them as they passed. Supernatural, Big hero 6, Boku no pico, some random Japanese and then Korean films and manga, I even saw naruto and bleach. After some minutes it finally came to a rest, Highschool DXD/Fate.

"That's alright I guess, could be worse like a futanari hentai or some Cthulhu crap. The next spin will determine opportunities/powers that correspond to the world your going into."

Hmm, I guess I'd wish for something like Gilgameshs powers I guess, there super versatile and it's easy to essentially 'win' at life. With a tug on the wheel I began to spin again, this time abilities, powers and opportunities appeared on it. Abilities like manipulate fire, powers like reality control and opportunities like 'an old master takes you in and trains you' kind of stuff. After spinning awhile it finally came to a stop.

What the heck does GM interpretation mean.

"Oh, I haven't seen this one in along time. This means that I can give you an opportunity that I think will help you out and just the thing comes to mind," with a wave of his hand a box with text appeared infront of me. 'Ability, interact with heroes of the throne with a chance to aquire a Random ability or skill that the hero has cultivated before death. Likely hood of acquisition increases with bond between you and hero. Able to acquire as many skills or abilities from hero(s) until you have acquired all. Your base body will have high grade magic circuits in regards to GM request.'

This, this is pretty good and at the same time not. I'm pretty sure bond means that I'm going to have to talk and interact with who ever I summon from the throne.

"Well now all that's left is for your final spin."

This last spin is from what I gather going to determine the circumstances of my birth. Things like health, location, gender and more. I hope I'm still a guy, I hope. I grabbed the handle and gave it a final spin. With a slow click it stopped on a blue slot.

"Well I guess you can't always be lucky." With a flick a screen like before appeared infront of me. 'You will be reborn in a male body, age 4, hair black, eyes turquoise. Will have 90 high-quality magic circuits. No parents, no home, no inheritance, no money or supplies. Current abode is an alley in Kyoto, Japan. Current status is malnourished and unclean, no illnesses. Determined that you will have a sacred gear of unknown identity.'

This is an interesting trade off. First I have no foundation in that world, but in return I get a sacred gear.

"Yeah, but it might be a weak or useless gear. Sure all gears are made to assist humans against the supernatural. But not all gears are equal, you know this."

Yeah I know that. What is next?

"Oh that's simple. You enter your new life. I mean sure It'll be hard and stuff but you should thrive, ish. Anyway I've got things to do and things I'm to lazy to say. So ima just send you on your way, bye!"

WHAT! JUST LIKE THAT!

With what felt like a dip into a whirlpool of cold water, I felt myself spin around and with a tug in my gut I was gone.
