A night of complete darkness finally ended with some really annoying rays of sunlight, pinching at Matteo's eyelids. As he turned on the bed, he groaned out the anger he was feeling towards the body pains.
His brain tried processing how he arrived home last night, after, of course, making extra sure he felt the exact reason why he shouldn't have been drinking. The last thing that still remained slightly blurry was the conversation he had with Marcus. The anger he felt towards the body pain had automatically being transferred to himself as he cussed at his own lips for becoming that loose.
Marcus was clearly at the loosing advantage over Sophia as he continued believing that Sophia was still wedded to Damien. This would make him not even grow the intentions of seeking her out over some past love, and from the conversation he had with Sophia, he could tell there was some really deep feelings involved.
