SOPHIA'S POV
The drive back home was as quiet as it was loud. We didn't speak a word to each other, or he probably just hadn't thought of the right words to use with me.
Either ways, I was more engrossed in the too many things flooding my mind. From a sudden pregnancy to a potentially hurt Marcus who'd possibly soon find out about it, and then finally settling on the idea that my life just might be in danger.
The car stopped in front of the house and with Mellisa's help, I got out and walked inside.
"Could you get me some fruits? I'm just craving something sweet." I asked Mellisa, trying my possible best to sound as polite as I could, not willing to be another "rich arrogant wife".
She gave a nod and a smile, "I'll bring them to you right away. Just go inside and relax."
