He murmurs in my ear, "You look even more editable than you did yesterday." His teeth lightly bit down on my earlobe, and I felt it.
I whispered, "Robert," He turned around and stared back at me in the mirror. Maybe you could introduce yourself to me like a regular person.
He giggled and kissed the back of my ear before settling onto the chair that Daniel had been using earlier. He grabbed hold of my thighs and swung me around to face him because it seemed to irritate him that I was still facing forward. He still has his eyes on me and cries to the bartender, "Get me a glass of rum and mix it with coke!"
I chuckle while shaking my head. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Woods.
He bit his lower lip and smirks. "How are you feeling this evening?"
I smugly remark, "I'm having a beautiful evening, if I do say so myself. How are you doing on this very pleasant evening?
He looks briefly away from me before holding back a laugh. I chuckle to myself and take a sip of my wine, "Quite boring if I say myself." I don't like spending time with some dull old individuals here right now because these things always drag on.
I chuckle as I set my glass down on the table. Aren't you just the kindest character judge, then?
He sips his whisky and shrugs, "I don't like people."
I look at the bartender and say, "So I figured," and he fixes his eyes on me.
"He pissed me off. He shouldn't have been flirting with you instead of doing his job," he snarls, clenching his jaw as he turns to face him before looking back at me.
I roll my eyes and sneer. "He was being polite."
He says in a firm voice, "He was flirting.
I raise an eyebrow and say, "So what if he was, what's it to you?"
His mouth moves back and forth. He gives me a stern look before approaching. You truly irritate me.
I snort and shoot him a look in return. He rolls his eyes and takes a sip of his drink, "You came and spoke to me." My hands are in my lap as I sigh. "Robert, why are you here?"
He smirks mockingly as he turns to face me. No more Mr. Woods, huh?
I jeered, "Mr. Woods, why are you here?"
He looks over to the crowd as his jaw drops. "Like everyone else, I'm here to raise money for a cause I believe in."
I sneer, "You know that's not what I'm asking." Why are you talking to me here?
He turns his head away from the crowd and meets my gaze. Perhaps I came to invite you to accompany me back home so I could remove you from that incredibly lovely dress.
I choke on my drink for the second time tonight as my eyes widen. The bastard does not assist me; instead, he laughs at me. Please say no, Robert. Don't assist. Watch me sputter. As I stop choking, I glare at him.
I growl, "I'm sure Ms. Palvin would love to go with you back home." Speaking of, why are you bothering me right now when you might be with her?
He smirks cockily, "Of course Ms. Palvin, along with every other woman in this building, would love to accompany me home this evening." Furthermore, Ms. Jones doesn't need to be envious because the offer is still on the table.
I hiss, "I'm not jealous, you conceited prick. I spin around, facing him, and say, "And I suggest you get back to Ms. Palvin, or go bother some other chick." I then look at the exit door, hoping Daniel will return.
He grips my hips from behind and screams angrily in my ear, "First of all, did I not advise you to watch how you speak to me? I gasp as I suddenly feel him behind me. Second, despite what I stated in my office, I don't think I bother you. You actually seem to like my company.
I hiss and push his hands away from my hips. "Don't flatter yourself Robert," I say.
I spin around in my seat all of a sudden, and there before me is the most gorgeous man I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Do you really like to be difficult to get, Ms. Jones?
I tell Robert with a straight face while gazing into his stunning chocolate eyes, "I'm here with someone.
He chuckles sinisterly and scans the area. Oh, right, Mr. Olivia -- where are you?
He'll be back in just a minute.
A recognizable voice I've learned to adore says, "Right here."
