In no time, Marcus and Arianna were at his penthouse, but as soon as he stepped in, his nose picked up an unfamiliar scent in the house. He halted in his steps, alerting Arianna, who was beside him.
"What's wrong?" She asked. She looked around for any impending danger but could not see any, before taking her eyes back to Marcus, who was still sniffing the air.
"I need to go check up on something, Anna. Stay here, I will be right back." He ordered and dashed inside before she could ask any further questions.
