Arianna left Marcus's pack house early the next morning, even when Kayla insisted for her to stay for breakfast, she remained adamant to leaving. She was uncomfortable being there and everything worsened after Marcus told her that she was his mate, she thought she was familiarizing herself with them and what she has known they were, but she was mistaken. She was so wrong, she still haven't been able to comprehend things, especially when they were all over her.
Arianna remembered hearing their giggles and laughter from the living room that night, she remembered how loud they were throwing jokes here and there at each other, and she so wanted to be a part of them. But she was sad, her family was once like that, her brother was one of the tormentors in her life and she missed that.
All throughout her ride back to her dorm in the university, she noticed that Marcus didn't say much to her, and he only spoke when she asked a question which was on a few cases.
