Unable to hide her curiosity any longer, she asked,
"What is this 'mate' thingie you have been talking about, Enrique?" She asked, and that place a wide smile on Enrique's face.
"They are soulmates created for people like us by the goddess, and once we have mates and marked them, they will be bound to us forever." He explained with his eyes glinting with happiness.
This was the only thing that would alleviate his already down mood…his mate Erica.
