"Good morning" Seraphina greeted Serena as she walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning," Serena said back, flatly. She continued her business, pouring herself a glass of water.
Seraphina had her gaze fixed on her even as she opened the fridge to collect a bottle of water, she was waiting for the right time to strike up a conversation with Serena.
Just as Serena dropped the glass cup on the table, Seraphina fully faced Serena and slightly opened her mouth to say something but then...
'Pah'
Serena slapped her.
Seraphina held her cheek as she turned to gaze at Serena, her eyes filled with both shock and fright, wondering what that was for all of a sudden.
"You are the reason why my sister is currently in jail!" Serena bawled.
She had spent her whole night after they had made love, curled up in Ethan's arms and listened to Ethan vent about how Seraphina hated him for no reason and that Seraphina had been the one who told Dorcas about the wedding and her affair with Ethan's father.
"And who told you that?" Seraphina queried, still at sea. It had to be Ethan, Ethan was the only one who suspected her about Dorcas's appearance at the wedding.
Edward had also forbidden Serena to speak with her sister, so it can't be from Dorcas.
"It doesn't matter! Just stay away from me" Serena uttered, she walked away.
Seraphina gasped and just stared at her till she was completely out of Sight.
Seraphina let out a little gasp again, she was still utterly perplexed.
She was not expecting things to turn out this way all of a sudden.
How was she Supposed to get Serena on their side at this point? Sebastian would be so disappointed.

"She did what!?" Gabriela queried.
Serena suddenly slapping Seraphina was something she couldn't believe but the reasons were clear enough.
"How do you think she found out about it?" She asked
"This is Ethan's doing. I'm sure" Seraphina professed
"They spent the whole day together yesterday," Gabriela muttered,
Seraphina gave a confirmation nodd,
"Yes, something must have happened between those two," she added.
Gabriela gasped out in disbelief.
"Does she have no shame? She fumed, her brows snapped together.
"She is having an affair with both father and son! How can she be so shameless" Gabriela ranted
"We don't know that yet" Seraphina quickly said. She squeezed her eyes shut then exhaled and sighed out loudly.
"What do we do now? She definitely would not want to be involved with us after that'' Seraphina whined.
Gabriela let out a soft smile.
Her eyes abruptly lit up
"Let's go to Sebastian," she implied.
It was so much easier to leave the house with Charlotte still in the hospital and Edward paying little attention to them.
"And please don't tell him about Joshua just yet, I will do that when I'm ready" she added
Seraphina gave a nod and a small smile.
"I won't"

Sebastian was on his feet, his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes locked on Seraphina and Gabriela.
"Well, it's not like I did not expect that to happen" he uttered
"Well, what do we do now?" Seraphina queried.
"We move to the next plan" Sebastian declared. His eyes met Seraphina's, boring into him with curiosity.
"Grace Sullivan" he uttered.
Gabriela and Seraphina abruptly exchanged glances. Did Sebastian know about Gabriela's brother? Pretty sure, they were both wondering the same thing.
"Grace is a ticking time bomb" Sebastian declared. "And she is a murderer!"
Gabriela's eyes widened in shock as she abruptly turned to gaze at Seraphina again. For a second, she believed Seraphina had already told Sebastian about everything but when she saw the wide-eyed expression on Seraphina's face, she knew it wouldn't have been her but then how did Ethan find out about Grace being a murderer?
"How...how do you know that?" Seraphina inquired.
"I have my ways" came Sebastian's curt reply.
Gabriela fixated her gaze on him with her forehead creased, she felt Sebastian was hiding something.
Did he already know that it was her brother that was killed?
Her head couldn't stop pondering with thoughts.
Sebastian let loose a small corny smile on his face as he stared only at Gabriela.
"I know what you are thinking and yes, I do" he uttered and Gabriela's eyes grew even wider.
"You are Gabriela Parez and your brother is Simon Parez"
Gabriela clapped her hand to her mouth.
'Does he know about the baby I have for Ethan too 'She couldn't help but ponder while hoping that he didn't.
"We are eliminating a ticking bomb for Seraphina and we are seeking Justice for you and Simon," Sebastian said softly.
Gabriela felt her heart get warm.
"How do we know she is a ticking time bomb?" Seraphina uttered quietly.
Seraphina glared at Sebastian.
"I feel like I'm wasting too much time, Sebastian. I really want to get this over with!"
Sebastian let out a quiet sigh.
"Come here," he said softly with his arms wide open, inviting Seraphina for a hug.
Seraphina stood up and abruptly wrapped her arms around Sebastian, and he pulled her closer.
Seraphina felt like she was being wrapped up in a warm embrace, a feeling of comfort and safety flushed over her.
Sebastian felt his heart flutter as her soft hair brushed against his cheek, and he could smell the gentle scent of her perfume.
He instantly felt a rush of emotion.
Gabriela's brows snapped together.
It was like she became invisible to both of them all of a sudden.
Watching them made her heart burn,
And yes, she liked Sebastian.
That was the reason she did not want him to find out about her son for Ethan.
