As Aqua and I stood back to back, surrounded by the massive frogs, I could feel her trembling in fear and disgust. The giant amphibians' slimy skin glistened in the sunlight as they croaked menacingly, their wide mouths dripping with saliva. Aqua's shivering was nearly palpable.
"Gil, do something!" Aqua's voice was laced with panic.
I sighed inwardly, my patience wearing thin. "Guess I have to take this seriously now."
With a flick of my wrist, I summoned my Gate of Babylon. The golden portals opened behind me, and countless weapons gleamed from within, ready to rain death upon our enemies. With a simple thought, a volley of blades shot out, impaling the surrounding frogs with deadly precision. The massive creatures let out pitiful croaks before collapsing to the ground, dead.
The air was filled with the stench of blood and amphibian flesh, and Aqua turned to me, her blue eyes filled with irritation. "Couldn't you have done that sooner instead of playing with those balls of yours?"
I chuckled at her choice of words. "That's what she said," I whispered under my breath.
"What?" Aqua blinked, clearly not hearing me.
I coughed into my hand, trying to keep my composure. "I was just experimenting with something, trying to figure out a new technique. But don't worry, I'll do my 'experiments' without you from now on."
With a huff, Aqua turned on her heel and began stomping back toward the city. "Fine! Do whatever you want. Just leave me out of it!"
*Sigh* "It's probably for the best that I handle this on my own," I muttered to myself. "Now, I can stop holding back."
I focused my attention on the battlefield. Though the initial wave of frogs had been dealt with, I could sense more of them approaching, drawn by the commotion. The ground trembled slightly as their massive forms closed in.
Perfect.
I reached into my Gate of Babylon and summoned an array of different spheres and objects—steel balls, dodecahedron dice, and even a few enchanted weapons. Each floated around me, their surfaces gleaming with latent energy. Without a horse, my manipulation of the Spin wasn't as precise as I wanted it to be, but I could enhance it by combining it with Hamon energy.
The spheres levitated in the air, spinning faster and faster as I infused them with both Spin and Hamon. Their rotation created a faint hum that resonated through the air, the sheer force of the energy causing the surrounding grass to bend under the pressure.
More frogs emerged from the underbrush, their beady eyes fixed on me as they began to hop closer. Each one was as large as a small car, their mouths wide enough to swallow a human whole. They were mindless beasts, driven only by hunger.
"Let's get started, then."
With a single thought, I unleashed the full force of my Spin and Hamon-infused spheres. The steel balls shot forward, each one cutting through the air like a bullet. The first frog barely had time to react before one of the steel balls slammed into its forehead, drilling through its skull with a sickening crunch. The creature collapsed instantly, its body twitching as the Spin continued to tear through its insides.
Another frog leaped at me, its massive mouth wide open, but I was ready. I summoned a pair of dodecahedron dice, their sharp edges glinting in the light. With a flick of my wrist, I sent them flying toward the creature, embedding them deep in its eyes. The frog let out a deafening croak of pain as it crashed to the ground, blinded and defeated.
The remaining frogs hesitated, their primitive minds struggling to comprehend the devastation before them. I took advantage of their hesitation, summoning more spheres from my Gate of Babylon. This time, I combined the Spin and Hamon with a surge of magical energy, imbuing the spheres with explosive force.
The frogs didn't stand a chance.
One by one, the spheres found their marks, exploding upon impact and reducing the massive creatures to piles of slime and gore. The battlefield was soon littered with the remains of the frogs, their bodies smoking from the sheer force of the attacks.
I stood amidst the carnage, breathing steadily as I surveyed the results of my work. My experiments had proven successful. The combination of Spin, Hamon, and magical energy had yielded devastating results, and I had barely broken a sweat.
With the battle over, I recalled the remaining spheres back into the Gate of Babylon. I had spent the entire day testing my abilities and refining my techniques, and the results were more than satisfactory.
'As I began to make my way back to the city of Axel, I couldn't help but smile to myself. This ability had so much potential, and I was only just beginning to tap into it. The giant toads were only the first of many challenges, and I relished the thought of what lay ahead. Thanos, darkseid even Sinbad and sung Jin woo we'll be nothing more than a nuisance once I mastered this new ability it wasn't the spin and hamon that I'm talking about but it was only one part of the one I'm actually talking about is this'
A swirl of light forms in my hand "energy synthesis!" I spend the entire trying to accomplish this I spend some point to get a Mission to obtain this ability, I could buy this without any hard work at all but it is much cheaper to buy a Mission that's going to give me this ability, I grins "now my potential have gotten even higher hahaha!"
"Let the games begin," I whispered to the wind, as the sun began to set on the horizon.
