Chapter 9 - chapter 9

The monochrome room was eerily quiet as I surveyed my surroundings. The girl before me is Aqua, if my memory was correct she stared at me with a mixture of confusion and irritation. She was supposed to be the goddess responsible for guiding souls into the afterlife and reincarnating them into a new world, but she appeared more like a spoiled child.

"So, you're Kazuma Satou, right?" Aqua asked, tapping her foot impatiently. "You died in a rather embarrassing way, but no worries! You can be reborn in a new world with amazing powers. Aren't you excited?"

I couldn't help but chuckle under my breath. The sheer absurdity of this situation was almost laughable. Here I was, Gilgamesh Supreme Overlord of Nazarick, king of heroes. posing as a pathetic human who had died in one of the most humiliating ways possible. The irony was not lost on me.

"Yes, I'm Kazuma, but it would be in your interest to call me Gilgamesh" I replied, my voice taking on the apathetic tone of my assumed identity. "But let's skip the formalities. Just tell me what my options are."

Aqua seemed taken aback by my nonchalance. "Uh, okay… So, you can either choose a powerful item or ability to bring with you to this new world, or you can take me with you as your companion!"

I raised an eyebrow beneath my mask. *This is the so-called goddess?* Her overconfidence and lack of awareness were almost endearing in their own way. Almost.

"Interesting," I mused, feigning deep thought. "But let's change the rules a bit. How about I take you with me and get an ability as well? After all, you did say I died in an 'embarrassing way.' Surely, I deserve some compensation."

Aqua opened her mouth to protest, but I could already see the gears turning in her mind. She likely thought that with her by my side, she could manipulate the situation to her advantage.

"Alright, alright," she said, crossing her arms and pouting. "I guess I can let you take both, but you better not be a deadweight in this new world!" I grins 'everything is going as planned, *minor flashback* before even transfering in this world I decided to take the of the villagers in carne and the sunlight scripture as well as any other people near nazarick with my luck luck devil fruit and with some manipulation magic through the system I manage to manipulate this to follow my biding

I gave a slight nod, pretending to concede, while internally, I was already calculating how best to use this goddess to my advantage. I would play along for now, but soon enough, Aqua would realize just how outmatched she truly was.

With a simple thought, I activated the sha naqba imaru within me,with it help I can get the most out of this situation

"Alright, I've made my choice," I said calmly. "Let's get this over with." I snuckly hide all the papers the contains the information of the abilities and a overpowered items in a sack that I pulled out of gate of Babylon and aqua in the eyes "I want everything in this bag" I pointed out and with a binding vow sacrificing all of my stored up luck in my devil fruit, 'i going to pull one of the greatest heist ever'

Aqua clapped her hands together, and with a flash of light, the monochrome room dissolved around us. The next thing I knew, we were standing in the middle of a bustling town square, the sounds of merchants hawking their wares, adventurers boasting of their conquests, and children playing in the streets filling the air.

I took a moment to observe the town and put all the things I get in my gate so that when those stupid gods finally realized my actions it would be far to late they would unable to take from my gate without my permission, so at the moment I turned my attention to my surroundings. The architecture was simple yet sturdy, the kind of place that had seen its share of hardships but remained resilient. The people here were varied—humans, demi-humans, and even a few exotic creatures mingling together. This was a world that had potential.

"Welcome to Axel, the starting town!" Aqua announced with exaggerated enthusiasm. "This is where all new adventurers begin their journey!"

I glanced at her, noting how she basked in the false attention of passersby who probably doesn't even recognized her as a goddess but Still think that they did. I would need to keep her ego in check.

"First things first," I said, redirecting my focus. "We need to register as adventurers and gather information. I want to know everything about this world—the power structures, the threats, the opportunities."

Aqua blinked, momentarily taken aback by my directness. "Oh, uh, sure! The Adventurer's Guild is just over there!" She pointed to a large building down the street. "They have all the info you'll need."

As we made our way to the guild, I could feel the eyes of the townspeople on us—curious, some even envious. They saw only what I wanted them to see: a new adventurer with his beautiful companion. But soon enough, they would see the truth. This world would become mine, just as Nazarick was, and I would rule from the shadows, tipping the scales in my favor at every turn.

Upon entering the guild, I immediately noticed the lively atmosphere. Adventurers of all kinds were gathered, discussing quests, boasting of their achievements, and enjoying hearty meals. The air was thick with the scent of food and ale, mingling with the sounds of clinking glasses and laughter. Thanks to my aura that I inherited from Gilgamesh everyones attention was drawn to us, and I would remiss if I don't take this opportunity, I take of my mask and send precise magic bullet through every womans g spot when they look at me causing them to orgasms and they would think they cum just by looking at me

A receptionist at the counter greeted us with a warm smile and flustered cheeks. "Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild! Are you here to register?" I smirk at her state clearly just powering through her orgasm just to seem presentable

I nodded. "Yes. My companion and I are here to register as adventurers."

She handed us two forms, explaining the different classes available and the process of leveling up. As she droned on about the basics, I quickly filled out the form, selecting the *adventurer* class for its versatility, while Aqua, of course, chose *Archpriest.*

As I handed back the completed forms, I subtly began weaving a spell, manipulating the flow of time within the guild. To the outside observer, nothing seemed amiss, but in reality, I was accelerating the passage of time for the registration process. Within moments, the receptionist handed us our adventurer cards, not even realizing what had transpired.

"That was fast!" Aqua exclaimed, oblivious to the spell. "I guess being with a goddess has its perks, huh?"

I smirked inwardly. *She has no idea.* And same as canon after noticing her insanely high stats the entire guild Burst into celebration, on the other hand I cast an illusion on mine keeping it slightly higher than the average nothing more

With our registrations complete, I led Aqua out of the guild and back into the town square. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden glow over the town. It was time to begin laying the groundwork for our conquest.

"Let's find an inn," I suggested, "and then we'll start gathering information. We need to identify potential allies, threats, and opportunities."

Aqua, still riding the high of her perceived importance, nodded enthusiastically. "Leave it to me! I'll have this town wrapped around our fingers in no time!"

As we made our way to the nearest inn, I couldn't help but reflect on the path that lay ahead. This world was full of potential, and with Aqua's unwitting assistance, I would unravel its secrets and bend it to my will.

And so, with the first steps taken in this new world, the game began anew. While Nazarick's influence subtly spread in the other world, I would build a new power base here, one that would serve as the perfect extension of my dominion. The Konosuba world would soon know the true power of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, and none would stand in my way.
