Finally, Alice unhanded me and I sat up and stretched a bit. I looked at my bleeding finger and the contract that was stamped with my blood.
"Isn't this blood contract a bit much."
"Not really since you are gonna be our slave for life."
'Slave for life!' That didn't sound good no matter what.
"Ummm…isn't slavery like illegal? So, I don't think I can do that."
"Well you will be listening to whatever we say, and that is in the terms, so you are going to be our slave."
"You didn't let me read the terms!"
My luck is just great. First I get an annoying classmate in my class and then I am that classmate's slave.
"Like I said before it doesn't matter if you read the terms."
"What happens if I destroy the contract?"
She then pulls out a photo of me putting my hand over Alice's mouth.
"Do you want this to leak? I don't think so, right?"
I was shocked. I couldn't do anything, but to nod my head. Uneasiness shivered my body as I try to get up.
"If you guys are satisfied of what you've done then I will take my leave."
I started to walk away, feeling devistated by my lost. I didn't know what they will do to me. For all I know I can just be a pawn in their plan of world domination. 'Yikes!' The thought of that makes feel scared stiff.
I suddenly scratched the back of my neck repeatedly, slowly forming a deep red spot on the back of my neck. 'Shit! I forgot how sensitive my skin is.' I took a deep sigh as I started to rub my neck where the red spot is.
"I need to end my habit before I I get a infection from my scratches." I whispered to myself.
"I know right. It is really bad for your skin, especially if you haven't washed your hands."
I jumped back at the sudden voice that was in my ear. It was Charlotte. She seems to have followed me all the way here.
"Why are you here?!"
"I was gonna ask the same thing!"
"Why are you shouting at me?!"
"Because you started to shouting at me!"
I turned around and started to walk quickly and she did the same. I turned left and right, and she did the same thing. It was like she was following me unintentionally.
Atlas, I arrived at the hotel I was staying. I looked around not seeing Charlotte anywhere. 'Maybe I shocked her off?' I took a deep sigh of relief and stepped into the lobby.
"Welcome to the number rated hotel in the whole United States, Summer Time Hotel!" The receptionist greeted.
I walk towards her and tell my room number since in this hotel the security was heavy. There were guards almost on every premise of the hotel during the day, but right now it almost night time so the security would be even heavier.
"Please scan your finger prints on the tablet."
After I pressed my finger on the screen, I waiting for the recipionist to give my room card, but then she suddenly said something that I didn't expect.
"I am sorry sir, but your room is currently used by someone else."
"What?! What do you mean?"
I try to calm myself, knowing that she is just doing her job and I shouldn't start yelling at her for that.
"May you tell me who stole my room?"
"It is me, idiot."
I turned around and saw Leonardo Simmons. 'The model or was it the gamer.' I didn't know who he was, but I didn't matter. The only thing that matters right now is that he took my room.
"Why did you take my room?"
"Non your business, and your in my way right now so move."
He tried to shove me to the side, but I didn't move.
"Huh! Move out of the way! Do you not know who I am?! I am the best gamer in the America, so move away."
"Why is a commoner like you in my way anyways?"
He shoved me again, but this time I just fell back.
"So much for acting all tough."
I just stood there waiting for him to finish registering. As soon as he left, I quickly walked to the reciptionist and asked for another room.
"Are you sure you want another room? I mean it is gonna cost you a lot."
"Don't worry I have the money."
"What kind of membership do you want?"
"May I have a Sapphire and Ruby membership?"
The reciptionist seemed shocked. Sapphire membership means that you have accessed to all the activities, food, floors, and other stuff. Ruby membership means you can accesses all the stores that are apart of the company that made Summer Time Hotel.
"Sir I don't think you know how to get those memberships."
"You must have a good relation with the owner of the company that created Summer Time Hotel or have at least 10 million followers and be known around 10 out of the 50 states in America. Am I correct?"
"Yes, sir you are correct, but you don't look like you meet those conditions."
"He….hahaha!"
I started to laugh uncontrollably as soon as she says that. Everyone in the lobby looked at me crazy.
"Sir, you are disturbing the lobby. I am going to have to tell you to leave if you keep this up."
Security started to walk slowly closer towards me. They had their tasers ready if I get out of control, so I stopped laughing.
"Sorry, it just seems so funny how people still care about appearances when they don't even know their background."
"Sir, I don't understand what you mean."
"Alright, then how about this. Let us make a bet shall we?"
"What are we betting on."
She seemed intrigued quickly. Well, in this day and age people gamble too often, so I can't really blame her.
"If I win, you will persuade the manager of this hotel to give me the membership and if you fail then you will lose your job-"
"That is impossible! The Sapphire and Ruby membership is too pricy and I won't risk my job for that!"
"Wait! You didn't let me finish. Clears throat. If I win you have to persuade the manager of the hotel to give me a membership and if you fail you can kiss goodbye to your job, but if you win I would sign any contract that would make me do anything at your will."
She seems a bit doubtful about the deal I am making.
"Anything?"
"Anything."
I leaned closer to her ears.
"From information to crimes. I will do anything."
"Alright, then what is the bet."
A slight giggle went out of my lips as I started to explain the bet.
"If I can guess your name then I win."
"Ok, let's do it."
"Wait, wait, hold on."
"What is it? You scared that you won't know my name."
"No, I am going to need your signature and the manager's as well."
Immediately, she started to phone the manager. The manager comes out of elavator and into the lobby.
As soon as he saw me he knew trouble was on the horizon. The manager of the hotel rushes over and glares at me.
"Why are you here Felix? Didn't I give you the money already to keep the thing a secret."
The reciptionist was flabbergasted as she didn't expected the manager to know me, let alone owed me money.
"You see all I wanted was for you to sign this contract."
I grasp a contract out of my backpack with all the terms and information.
"Why would I sign this Felix Taylor?!"
"Because your employee wanted a bet from me."
"What? You offered the bet."
"And you accepted it."
"Did you sign the contract?" The manager asked the reciptionist.
"No I didn't."
"You heard that! She didn't sign anything so leave!"
His loud shouts echoed the lobby as everyone looked at the fierce argument that the manager was making.
"Alright, alright, you say so."
I started to walk out the lobby when the reciptionist stopped me.
"Wait! I will sign the contract."
"What?!"
The bait has been taken led and the trap is about to activate. I gave her a pen and she signed away without looking at the terms. 'This feels like I have been in this situation before, but now I am the one offering the contract.'
As soon as she finishes signing away, I gave the paper to the manager.
"Come on manager. This is wasting my time."
"If we win then he could be our slave. We can order him to do anything we want him to do."
"That does sound good."
The manager seems tempted to signed the contract, so I added fuel to the fire.
"Just imagine all the things I did to you. You can get secrets from me, and loads and loads of money."
He grinened maliciously and took the paper out of my hands and signed his will away.
'Everything is has been placed. Now it is time for some fun.' I got chills of excitement as he gave me the contract with his signature…
