Time passed as the people let Mulberry rest in the infirmary, people were whispering about what Goddess Savianna had said to God Griffin just moments before. Sir Masson was getting nervous as he says to Griffin in a hushed voice
"God Griffin, what was she talking about? The history that you passed down was that Goddess Savianna was a gentle and kind beauty that could do no harm..."
It was obvious that Sir Masson was not the only person that was aware of this but Griffin said in a loud and powerful tone that made all that listened not doubt him
"Listen to me! This girl Mulberry must have corrupted my dear Savianna, she is never this vulgar and Irate as she is such a kind and quiet woman! I say we lock this girl up until the month is over or until we get my Savianna back!"
Griffin yelled as the people cheered from outside the building but some were not convinced, the loud noises woke Mulberry from her unconscious state as she sat up in bed. The pain and anger subsided but now a new emotion surfaced...Resentment, it felt cold yet so familiar. Mulberry stood up and dusted off her outfit looking at the door and walked forward, she didn't have very much control of her body but let it happen anyway as this felt like it was right to do.
She opened the door and stepped out coming face to face with Griffin, The resentment was there but her actions depicted the complete opposite emotions. Mulberry smirked and reached up yanking Griffins shirt down so they were face to face, her voice so soft that only he could hear
"You will never lock me up, this girl has freedom so you cannot restrict her.. She did not corrupt me but I will go along with this one time because I want my freedom. If you try to take it away from me I will cut your thumbs off so you will never wield a sword ever again...be a good boy and heed my warning..."
She smirks and stepped away watching the man before her glare but nodded stepping back also saying to the crowd of his followers
"I have gone too far, she is just a little grumpy from not reviving all those many years! Let's rejoice that we are both here!"
The people cheered and laughed as they all relaxed, Mulberry stood there smiling before her body relaxed now having her control again. She walked off ignoring her family's voices begging her to stay so they could talk to the goddess as no one had talked to her, Mulberry picked up her speed and ran to the stream with many thoughts running through her mind trying to figure out if they are her own or the goddesses. Mulberry collapsed onto the bank of the stream fully laying down now in the grassy dirt letting the tears flow down her already rosy cheeks letting everything out at that moment, she opened her eyes looking at the sky and letting out a ear-splitting scream so full of emotions.
She gripped at her clothed chest in pain, so many years of pain and other emotions all let out at once, the stream rippled but settled down just seconds later but it didn't stay quiet for long as the thunder started just seconds later. Mulberry watched the thunder strike in the distance like it was summoned from all the rage, the rain started to trickle down and soon started to pour down calming Mulberry in that moment hearing a soft voice in her head whisper softly
"I am sorry for causing you pain Mulberry, please know i do not wish to make you hurt..."
Mulberry did not feel any resentment towards Savianna...If anything all she felt for her was pity and sorrow, that pain was from many years of hateful and depressing emotional neglect. It left Mulberry wondering what really happened to the goddess to make her hate Griffin so much and just at that thought a slight pain shot to her head and something like a memory crossed her thoughts...
A dark room lay ahead with many sounds surrounding her, many voices calling foul names towards the room. She walked to the door peeking through the the slot in the door seeing a woman in beautiful jewels and silk clothing crying into her knees in the corner, The woman looked up locking eyes with her as she whispered to Mulberry "Perfidy"
Mulberry opened her eyes gasping for air looking around as she was laying in the grass while it rained and thundered, she softly touched her own cheek as a wave of comfort falls over her whispering to herself knowing Savianna would hear her words as she was in her mind
"You're not alone anymore so you can cry and scream all you want...I'll be here for you."Mulberry relaxed looking up to the clouds and just layed there her clothing soaked but she did not care at all as she felt peace at that moment enjoying it even though she knew it wouldn't last long at all.
