Chapter 4 - Cockiness is Contagious

"Mulberry!! Where are you? Sir Masson wanted to speak with you about Goddess Savianna and God Griffin!"

Mulberry's sister Edna yelled from the first floor making a relaxed Mulberry groan in annoyance, She slipped out of the tub and headed to her room across the hall changing into a flowy and oversized tan silk shirt with a pair of light denim shorts. She sighed walking downstairs to be greeted by the sight of Sir Masson and her parents sitting on the couch waiting for her, Mulberry cleared her throat leaning up against the doorway saying with an obvious tone of annoyance

"What do you want? Savianna doesn't want to talk to you."

Mulberry said without thinking already being overprotective of the Goddess which was odd as Mulberry never usually talks back to the higher-ups, Sir Masson smiled with a fake kindness that even a child could tell was fake. He rose up from the couch and slowly walked over to Mulberry saying in a tone that made him sound like a kind person

"Oh my dear Mulberry, we are all overjoyed by the Goddess finally entering a vessel but I have to be honest"

He smirked leaning closer to Mulberry, his face close to her ear whispering to her sounding like a snake waiting to snap at its pray

"I never thought you were strong enough to contain the Goddess as you look like such a weak person.."

As he pulls away with a cocky smile pasted upon his face but was soon replaced with a look of pain as his body sinks to the ground holding his crotch, Mulberry smirked as she says softly kneeling down so they are eye level then

"Sir Masson, you should know not to mess with a scorned woman. I can tell that man's Cockiness has to be contagious but let me tell you I hope you take this as a lesson to not go after Mulberry, You are a follower of Griffin, not one of me..."

Mulberry stood up smiling walking to the doorway again not even looking back, She headed up to her bedroom as a whisper of a voice rang through Sir Masson's mind

"...behave like a good pet, Sir..."
