After arriving back to the center of the sect Oda stepping into a small tan building throws a plastic box with a simple clasp holding it shut. As he opens the box he sees a fist sized piece of bread and a closed cup of some sort. Sinking his teeth into the bread as he felt the crunchy outer layer give way to the soft tender doughy center. Enki opens the sealed cup and a warm homely smell came from within... Oda smiled and encouraged him to drink the substance inside.
Tilting back his head he wholly trust the sect and takes a huge drink of whatever is in the cup...
His eyes shoot open immediately in surprise as the slightly thick liquid tasted savory and bold on his tongue. The simple bread was the perfect compliment to such a beverage and Enki hadn't had a meal this good ever in his life! He began to alternate between biting the bread and drinking from the cup savoring the heavenly flavor profiles he had never known before.
After what seemed like entirely to short of a time Enki finishes his bread and the contents of the cup using the last scrap of bread to soak up the last few drops so as not to waste anything. As Enki finished eating he felt satisfied all over his body especially his stomach which had never felt more than half full at any given time before. He looked down at his slightly bulging belly and smiles thinking how fortune has come to favor him.
"I'm happy that you liked your meal Enki!" Oda exclaimed to him. As he pondered over the meal he just had Oda volunteers some information to him. "The meal you just ate out of the cup is called a stew it can be made in several ways but on someone undernourished like you a savory stew full of beef fat and nutrients was the only reasonable choice."
Enki nods his head and gives a very heartfelt thanks to his Elder. Tears forming at the corner of his eyes, Oda afraid he has upset Enki turns away as if he hasn't seen him crying.
Enki can't seem to take his eyes off of Oda, he is starstruck even if he doesn't understand what that means. It was then that Oda's aura shifted, he looks at Enki with eyes that seemed to know all his secrets. "It's a damn good thing I play poker with the others or this kid would see right through me!"
Oda slowly turned his gaze away from him and started to walk toward a large spiral building that seemed at least five stories tall. "Follow me, if you want to learn anything today."
With no complaint or even a word to confirm he hurried to stand behind his revered Elder. They approached the building slowly, "Today I'll start teaching you Martial arts, it is the most basic requirement for one to cultivate is to learn to control the kinetic forces of your body. In the future you could even augment your kinetic strength through mana increasing your power output anywhere from two to a billion times over."
Enki raised his eyebrows as he had never imagined it would be like this! He knew cultivators were considered the peak existence on the planet, but, he had no idea of the amount of actual power that one could possess. Entering the building Enki and Oda come into a large open hall type room with several block like objects of various weight size and texture.
"To start studying martial arts you must develop a strong foundation, many make the mistake of trying to get stronger as fast as possible. Ultimately they reach their goal but by comparison someone who takes a month to advance will be far weaker than someone who slowly solidifies over a year."
Oda's explanation made sense to Enki so he just heavily nodded his head at his Elder.
