Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Prologue

I was astonished to learn about the concept of "light" and its existence. But after experiencing death, I often wonder if I could have lived a prosperous and exceptional life.

My mind and thoughts began to wander aimlessly as I pondered upon the fact that my death had occurred, leaving me to wonder and question who could have possibly been responsible for my assassination, this possible mean-ling.

Then again; Who could slaughter me?

I have no recollection of the heated argument; however, holding a powerful and expensive item might lead one to assume that I wanted to cause harm to myself. This is a concerning thought that needs to be addressed.

I recall being in a forest with a tree providing shade, while I was taking a nap and feeling relaxed.

It was like a dream, and this was making me comfortable - and I went along with it. I was feeling the pressure insure within, this mysterious light made me feel like hope or fate, destiny.

It felt like an eternity. I half expected to hear a choir of angels singing an angelic hymn, inviting me to heaven.

As if I was looking through a froggy forest, the branches moved like a bird's wings, everything around me turned into a blur, forcing me to shut my eyes, and sounds dived- An indiscernible assault blared through my ears, making me feel disoriented. When I tried to speak, the words emerged as a sobbing sound.

The cacophony of indistinguishable noises gradually decreased in volume, and a hushed voice could be heard saying, "Congratulations to you both on the arrival of your newborn baby, he's a healthy, adorable little one!"

….Wait, did I reincarnate.

I had supposed that I had just been witness to the miracle of birth, but the idea of my own death made me hesitate. Could I be dead if I had just been born?

Verily, I did assess my circumstances with a reasonable wizardly mien befitting an MAGICAN. First, I did take heed that, no matter whereabouts, I comprehended the tongue. This was a most auspicious omen, a 'good sign'!, understood the language.

I slowly opened my eyes again and they were bombarded with different colors and shapes. It took my baby eyes a while to get used to the bright light. A not-so-appealing face moved into my line of sight—a man with long, graying white hair on both his head and chin, wearing a pair of thick Geomeritc glasses. He seemed like a doctor's, but he wasn't wearing a doctor's uniform and we weren't anywhere close to a hospital room. It felt like I'd been born from some unholy summoning ceremony ritual, because we were lying on a bed of a straw-strewn bed within a generously sized room. The illumination was subdued, with only a handful of candles casting a gentle glow.

I looked around and saw the woman who had clearly just given birth to me. She was so gorgeous that it seemed reasonable to call her 'Mother' - and with barely opened eyes, I could tell she had an abundance of generous charm. Rather than glamorous, 'lovely' was the word that best described her; dark blue hair, light blue eyes, long eyelashes, and an upturned nose. I felt an irresistible warmth emanating from her, and I wondered if all babies felt this instinctive bond-lovely with their mother.

I uncovered my eye Away, and looked at the person standing to my right, His smirk was filled with ignorance and his eyes were wet with tears as he gazed upon me, and tearly eye-gazed me; I assumed he was my father. Immediately he said "Hi, little Hiro, i'm your Father", i glanced around to see both my mother and the doctor roll their eyes unshaded, baffed, as my mother managed to scoff "Darling, he was just newly born; give him some time." I was confused by the situation and didn't understand what was happening. I didn't understand what my father was saying or why he was looking at me.

After taking a thorough look, I could understand why my wonderful mother was so attracted to him. Other than the handsomely blossoming plant that he was tending to, he seemed to be expecting a newborn and spoke with two syllables— so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed he was overwhelmed by the joy of becoming a parent. His charisma was undeniable due to his chin curtain, diamond-shaped jawline, dark tresses, and strong eyebrows that came to two points resembling swords. Yet his eyes were surprisingly gentle, with a hint of sadness at the outer corners and a deep blue, almost sapphire, color to his irises.

I heard my mother's voice ask, "Doc, why isn't he crying? Does every newborn baby cry when they're just starting out? I thought they'd be crying and crying and crying!"

Once I had completed my examination, the bespectacled gentleman, who identified himself as a doctor, alleviated my mother's concerns by saying, "There are instances in which an infant does not cry. Please Mrs. Midnight, take some time to relax for the next couple of days. Mr. Midnight, I am here if you need me for anything." Thus began my new life, which I hoped would be a fruitful and remarkable one.

The week I was struggling to find my way out of the Passage, it was a new form of torture. I had no control over my own body - I could only wave my limbs around, and that got tiring quickly. I soon realised that babies don't have much control over their own bodies either - when you try to move their hands, they don't grab it because they like you; it's just a reflex. Forget motor control, I couldn't even excrete my waste at my own discretion. I wasn't even a master of my own bladder!

The area that appeared to be my parents' room seemed to be a place for invoking Satan. To the best of my knowledge, I felt as if I had gone back in time and been born in my own realm; before electricity had been discovered. That was my aim - yet my mother quickly disproved me wrong.

My simple-minded father had been spinning me around one day and clumsily banged me against a drawer, leaving a scratch on my leg. My mother then took care of it and healed it.

No, it wasn't like a kissed boo-boo healing; — no, this was something far more extraordinary. Her touch emanated a radiant azure glow, accompanied by a faint, otherworldly hum that resonated through the air. It was as if I had stumbled into the midst of a surreal-this was a full-blue, shining-light with a faint hum coming out of her hand like it was straight out of a freaky sci-fi movie!

My heart races, panic bubbling up within me as I desperately search for any familiar landmark. I have absolutely no idea where I am, and the realization that I'm utterly lost gnaws at my very core."

Where in tarnation am I?,Â
