A large intricate silver snowflake, the size of a man's open hand, lay on his palm. A light at the center flickered on, illuminating its six legs in a cold blue light.
Once the light was steady and no longer blinking, it started to hover over his palm. Shaky movements, just like a newborn calf's first steps on its shivering legs.
A minute later the movements became steady and smooth so he lowered his hand and looked at the snowflake with anticipation.
"Welcome to existence, System Snow," he spoke in a low quiet voice, filled with power and authority. "Do you know what your mission is?"
The light in the center of the snowflake flashed yellow for a split second before returning to its blue color and a voice that resembled a young teenage boy's voice answered, "My mission is to help the God-Seedling to ascend to the Heavens."
"Correct," he said and moved his hand in a slashing motion, cutting the space next to him. He could see a sleeping figure lying on a bed covered in a thin blanket and motioned for the snowflake to move closer.
"She will be your seedling," he told it, his voice taking on a note of affection. "Your job will be to help her take the highest possible position." He guided the System to go through the fissure and stay next to the sleeping figure.
He looked at the System and snapped his fingers. The light from the snowflake flowed out towards the woman and wrapped around her.

Starting the first mission..." the Systems voice echoed in the room and the space beyond the fissure. And then the System and the sleeping woman vanished from that space.
He moved his hand placing his finger at the top of the fissure.
Slowly it was sewed back closed and he was left in the empty space overlooking the countless stars.
"I will follow you," he whispered into the darkness and then he too vanished.
