"It seems Ryan is crushing on that popstar," Julliana, one of my best friends, said. We saw when Ryan gave that b!tch the invitation card.
"I hope not, or there will be trouble.... Ryan should think twice before flirting, he's mine alone and he knows that." I said between my teeth. "Valentine is next month, what if he asked her out as his girlfriend? '' Cat said(as in Catherine). I banged my hand at the locker beside me, frowning.
"Not gonna happen on my watch, he won't like what will happen.... Or two can play the game" I said smirking when an idea came. Ivy Spencer, watch your back... I won't let you take the spotlight from me.
"C'mon girls let's go to class' ' I said and walked towards our next class with girls trailing behind. 🎶🎸IVY POV🎤🎧
"So, what did you think about the invitation, are you going?" Jocelyn asked as we waited for her driver to come. "Sure, but.... I'll need my aunt's approval first" I told her.
"Ohk, I'll go if you go," she said, making me smile. "You do go to parties, right? " I asked. "Yeah, twice with my cousin before she left," she replied, with sadness in her tone. "Mind telling me why she left? " I was concerned and curious too.
"She was pregnant, hid it from us, no one knew until she took an abortion pill that killed her due to excess bleeding " she concluded as a lone tear trail down her left cheek. "Am sorry I reopened an old wound, sorry for asking " I apologized and cleaned the lone tear. "No worries, it's the past now". She replied smiling though it didn't reach her eyes.
"Seems your driver is late, let me take you home" I insisted and she agreed. The drive to her house was silent but comfortable. I feel bad asking about her cousin. I felt someone touch me, jolting me out of my thoughts, it's Jocelyn. "Hey, what's up? " I asked, that's when I noticed the car had stopped. " Am home, gotta go, goodnight Ivy" she said and hugged me before getting out and I reciprocated it. "Ohk, sleep well, see you tomorrow " I replied to her after we disengaged and she got down, I waved at her as my driver drove us home.

I waved at her till her car was out of sight then I went inside. "Hello Jocelyn " Sarah, my maid, greeted me as I entered the house. She calls me by my name because we are more like close friends than mistress and maid. "Hi Sarah" I greeted her and we both walked into my room upstairs. "You sound dull, mind telling me why? " she asked concerned.
That's Sarah for you, always observant, she knows my mood all the time, whenever I am happy, sad, worried or scared. She started working here after Judith's death (my cousin). I was most affected and broken at that time cos Judith was my best friend, hardly keeping secrets from each other. But she kept that deadly secret that caused her life from me and that broke me, I hardly talk or eat but Sarah mend me and encouraged me, always there when I need her, we have been close friends since then. Always tell each other our secrets just like me and Judith. Though Sarah is two years older, we don't mind.
"I just remembered Judith that's all, no big deal right? "I said trying to sound less concerned but deep down I still miss her, knowing I am not gonna see her smile or frown hurts a lot. It's been a year but I still can't shake this feeling that Judith is gone. "Have told you not to think about her, it was her time to go. Everyone has a time limit on earth, so nothing happens by accident, it's how it's stated in each person's destiny that's how it will happen, so stop being sad" she said with her regular advice but it's still encouraging.
"Where's mum? " I asked to change the topic after a few minutes of silence. "Went out not too long ago, she took Bob with her, that's why he didn't pick you up today". "Did you take the bus home? " she added.
"No, Ivy drove me home" I said, taking off my uniform. "Wow, you mean the pop star? You're really lucky, I thought girls like her are rude and proud" she said demonstrating it. "I thought that too but Ivy is friendly and fun. Not proud like I expected and I like her already, my remaining days in high school won't be as boring as I thought" I said smiling and she chuckled.
"Ohk, the house seems quiet, where are those assholes? " I asked, referring to my two big brothers, Micah and Michael, those devilish twins but they make the house lively and we fight every day, playful fights though and I love them a lot. "Oh, those pigs, arrrrgh..... They went clubbing " she said, frowning in a way that made her look cute. I laughed at her. My brother always makes her work hard, she calls them pigs cause they always keep their rooms dirty and she's to suffer for it.
"Did mum know? " I asked because mum never approves of them going to clubs. She still sees them as babies at 21, So they secretly go without her knowing but I always expose them unless they bribe me. *Am gonna have their credit cards today* I thought about smirking. "No, she doesn't always..... What would you like for dinner? She asked, standing up from my bed. "Chicken, pancakes and scrambled eggs. '' I replied and walked into the bathroom.
"Ohk meet me downstairs when you are done bathing " she said as she walked out and the door closed. I sighed and deep myself into the warm water in the bathtub. I closed my eyes and relaxed. *feels good* I thought about smiling.

I didn't mean to be rude to Ivy but I couldn't help but feel jealous when I saw her with Ryan. I looked at Ryan sitting opposite me, busy with his phone as usual and others were chatting about something I care less about. I wonder why he's after Ivy when he's got a fiance. Stacey is not the type to tolerate flirting when it comes to Ryan. Though she's a bitch and Ryan doesn't like her, it's just a business marriage. But I won't let him hurt Ivy for no reason.
"Hey Ryan, what's your deal with Ivy anyway, heard you invited her to your party" Liam asked. "Really? Why would he do that? Adrian also asked, referring to Ryan.
"Cause I want to, anything bad with it? "He(Ryan) said, sounding annoyed. "Easy bro, just asking, you have a fiance and a possessive one at that, don't do anything crazy to spoil Ivy's name, she's a celebrity and things about them spread fast" Liam said and Adrian nodded in agreement.
"Having Stacey as a fiancee doesn't mean I can't like someone else, I like Ivy and besides it's my party not yours' ' he said and focused on his phone again. "We mean no harm dude, a little advice won't hurt '' Adrian said and the rest that follows was silence. Though I've been silent all through. The driver stopped at my house and I got down.
"See you tomorrow my love"Adrian said as we all did our brotherly handshake. "Idiot " I said loud enough for him to hear. "Ouch, my heart" he said, holding his chest dramatically and Liam laughed. I waved at them till the car drove away.
"Eston, Eston '' Kara and Kira screamed and ran towards me immediately they saw me and I hugged them both. They were watching their girly cartoon movie before I entered. "Eaten?" I asked as I led them to the couch they were sitting on before. "Yeah, nanny Bella made hotdogs and ketchup" Kara said excitedly and Kira nodded her head. "Ohk, let me go and freshen up" I said and stood up.
"We heard Ivy Spencer is in dad's school, is it true? " they asked. "Yeah, so? " I said, raising an eyebrow for them to continue.
"Are you guys friends? Kira asked, smiling expectantly. "No, just classmates" I said flatly though I wish we were. "Why? Kara asked, pouting sadly. "Cause I don't want to" I said almost like a snap.
"You have to be nice to her and she'll be your friend or else we won't talk to you ever" Kara said and they both walked upstairs to their room. "Ah, come on, it's not as easy as you two put it, you know? Can you two really ignore me? " I asked them.
"Watch us," Kira yelled before slamming their door shut. I laughed at their childishness, those two never cease to amaze me. They claim to be adults but always have this childish attitude with them.
I walked towards my room thinking of how to ask Ivy for friendship not because those two witches asked me to. Maybe I'll ask her at Ryan's party which is on Friday.
