" Uh-huh " Chris said and nobody said anything again as silence reigned between them. Chris sat in-between Skyler and Maya.
Skyler was focused looking out of the window, but Maya on the other hand tried to breath due to her closeness with Chris.
Their shoulders were touching, her breath hitched as this was the first time to be so close with Chris.
Chris felt her discomfort and asked " are you not comfortable "
" Oh, I am " Maya said.
" Are you sure cause I ..... "
" It's alright, I'm fine " Maya said and looked outside the window. When she felt Chris wasn't looking at her anymore she breathed a sigh of relief.

After some minutes, they finally got to McDonald's where the karaoke night was happening.
Maya decided to pay for all three of them, after paying the taxi driver they got into the building and took the elevator to the fourth floor.
When they finally got to the fourth floor, they took the booth at the corner and a waiter came to meet them and gave them an iPad and a food and drink menu.
Chris ordered steak and chicken wings, while Skyler and Maya ordered french fries and hamburger.
The waiter left to get their orders while they waited.
" So, while we wait who is going to sing first cause I'll be the last " Chris said, he sat again in the middle of the two ladies.
" I'll go first " Maya said and took the iPad to select a song she will sing and when she finally found the song she was looking for, she got up and started the karaoke machine and the screen lit up and showed the song she was going to sing.
She took the mic and took a deep breath, she looked at Chris. The song she chose was a message she wanted to condone to Chris, because she's loved him for a while now but couldn't tell him.
She wanted to pour out her heart to him to tell him how she felt about him since the first time she saw him with her eyes.

Just like Maya, Chris never broke eye contact with Skyler, and Maya felt heartbroken as though he cheated on her.

" Are you alright " Chris asked Skyler who shook her head.

Chris held her hair so she wouldn't vomit on her hair, and then his eyes trailed to her skirt and saw blood stain.

Skyler checked herself and saw that she was bleeding truly, she was embarrassed though it wasn't the first time for Chris to see her in this state.

" Let me help you get clean clothes " Maya said and left.

Some minutes later, Maya got back with some clean clothes and pad for Skyler. She also wore fresh clothes, she wore a jean short and an off the shoulder white top.
Maya let her down like Skyler as she knew Chris liked it.
After Skyler had changed her clothes and cleaned up, she came outside looking fresh and clean though she still felt a little pain.
" I guess we should go home " she said.
" Yeah, we had fun already " Chris said and they left.
Chris didn't return back to his apartment, he decided to stay with Skyler while Maya returned back to her room after wishing them good night.
He wrapped Skyler in her bed and then went back to lay on the couch.
" How are you feeling now " Chris asked.

Some minutes later Chris slept off after making sure Skyler was fine. Skyler couldn't sleep and just stared at him.
He had always been there for her, she had known him since she was 17 years old and Chris was 19 at that time she met him at their SA base after Kendricks took her in.
Chris had become Kendricks assistant at the age of 19, she and Chris had been friends for four years.
Just then her phone screen lit up and she saw a text from Lucas.

She wondered how his reaction will be if he knew.
' Are you sure I shouldn't come ' she saw his text again.
' No I think I'm sleepy now, good night Lucas ' Skyler texted him with a yawning emoji.

Just after Skyler dropped her phone on her bedside table she slept off and as usual she dreamt about the blue eyed man who was Lucas.
All this while Lucifer was texting Skyler, he was sitted on his throne in hell.
He smiled as he saw her text him back this time unlike those times.
He was aware of the shocked faces of the demons who saw him smiling but he ignored them as he continued to text Skyler and she replied him back.
He thought she had slept off but luckily for him she was still awake.
When he looked up from his phone, the demons who were staring at him quickly averted their gazes away.
Lucifer had decided to stay in hell for some time before he went back to the living world, by the time of the morning he would be back to his room as if he was never gone.
