"Tonight, you'll sleep in the maid's room!" Seraphina threw a pillow at Damian.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm sure your stupid brain knows what I mean!"
"But I am your husband."
"To me, you're not my husband. You're just a burden and a disgrace to the Anderson family!"
"Can you respect me just once?"
"Why would I respect a useless man like you?! Get out of my room!"
Damian sighed heavily, trying patiently to respect Mr. Lucius. "Alright, I'm out."
He pushed his wheelchair toward the back room in the Anderson house, next to Aunt Sarah's room.
"Sir? Why did you come here with a pillow?"
"Can you take me to the empty maid's room?"
Sarah was surprised. "Why? Shouldn't you be sleeping in Seraphina's room?"
"Today, I want to sleep alone."
Sarah frowned suspiciously. Damian and Seraphina must have had an argument. "Why don't you sleep in the guest room?"
"I wanted to be near you because you remind me of my mother," Damian smiled.
Sarah sighed heavily. "Did Miss Seraphina send you away?"
Damian was silent for a moment, then shook his head. "No."
"You don't need to hide Miss Seraphina's evil because I already knew her before you."
Damian only looked down sadly.
"You don't need to be sad. I will escort you to your room. You must be tired."
"Thank you very much, Aunt Sarah."
'Poor Mr. Damian. His wife, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law are always putting him down.'
Damian secretly smiled. 'You are indeed a good human being, Miss Sarah.'
Suddenly, the cell phone rang in Sarah's pocket.
"Wait a minute, Sir. I have to take a call from my husband."
"Alright."
Sarah stepped away from Damian to take the call, but Damian was quietly eavesdropping from a distance.
"WHAT?!" The woman screamed hysterically. "No way!"
"What's wrong, Aunt Sarah?"
Sarah's tears broke. "No way! There's no way my daughter died!"
Damian was shocked.
Sarah cried until she wailed in anguish.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Damian. I must return to my village."
"I understand."
"No! You can't go home because you still owe me a lot!"
"Mom, Aunt Sarah's son just died. Please, let her come home."
"No way!"
"Mrs. Victoria, I promise to pay off all my debts, but please let me go home."
"No way! You think you can just run away?!"
"I'll take her place. I'll clean the house while Aunt Sarah goes home."
Victoria grinned slyly. A wicked idea crossed her mind. "Okay. I agree."
"Thank you very much, Mrs. Victoria."
"No need for pleasantries. Just pack your things and leave."
Sarah nodded quickly, then hurried to her room.
"Now, you clean the whole house if you can do it blind."
"I will."
Carefully, Damian guided his wheelchair to the kitchen, where he picked up the floor-cleaning equipment. After that, he mopped the living room.
"What's really going on, Mom? Why is that man cleaning the house? Where's Sarah?" Seraphina had just come from work.
"Sarah is back home, so Damian offered to take her place. It's time we got revenge on that guy."
Seraphina chuckled sarcastically. "Mommy is smart." She walked over to Damian and stepped on the floor he had just cleaned.
"Seraphina?" Damian guessed when he smelled the woman's perfume. "Did you just get home?"
"No need to get familiar with me! Hurry up and clean my house, then make me some tea!"
"Sorry, but I can't make tea because I'm blind."
"I don't care. Do as I say, or I'll kick you out of my house!"
Damian reflexively threw the mop handle to the floor in anger. "Can't you respect me?! Even though I'm blind and poor, I'm still your husband!"
PLAK!
"How dare you yell at my daughter! Remember that you're only staying in my husband's house!"
"I never asked him to receive me in his house."
"You think we'll believe you? Many people have begged my husband for the pleasures of life!"
"Come on, Sera. Let's go." Victoria pulled her daughter's hand toward the room.
***
Evening.
Sarah's aunt cries over the body of her 16-year-old daughter.
"Excuse me, Miss."
The woman turned away. She was astonished to see a young man wearing a tuxedo and sunglasses standing nearby.
"Who are you?"
"You don't need to cry. I will heal your daughter."
"That's impossible. Because my daughter is dead."
"Nothing is impossible." He touched the teenager's forehead, then he coughed.
"Oh my!" Sarah was shocked.
"Mom?" The teenager sat up and looked around her. "Where am I? Why is it so cold in here?"
Sarah immediately hugged her daughter while giving thanks.
"Thank you, Mr-" She was confused when the man suddenly disappeared without a trace.
"Who are you looking for?"
"The man who resurrected you."
"What?! Since when did I die?"
'It's strange. Who exactly is that man? Is he an angel?'
