Chapter 27 - Class assignment examinations. (2)

The air around the blind man continued to make his clothes and hair flutter as if the air existed only around him.

In the middle of the mist, where strong air flow was cut off so that the mist won't move and get cornered at one side, the strong winds around him blew as if that condition didn't apply to his surroundings.

Soon,

The crowd which couldn't see the screen that displayed the blind man, snapped out of their daze and began to whisper.

A white haired and golden eyed charming man in his fifties gazed down at the mist covered dome as his eyes peered through the mist and continued to gaze at the blind man's head.

"Stop staring…." The blind man muttered in a low voice, but the golden eyed man was able to hear it and smiled.

'How intriguing.' He wondered.

The golden eyed man could tell that the blind man had somehow become weaker than he was in the examination, yet at the same time, he also felt that it had somehow become easier for him to be defeated by the blind man.

'Somehow…. He feels unrestrained…..'

'and dangerous….'

"I said…." The blind man muttered again, suddenly.

The golden eyed man's ears perked up as he subconsciously leaned forward to hear more clearly, but

"Stop staring."

SLASH-!

Before he realized, he felt his vision spin, mid-air.

He soon saw his own headless body, standing frozen in a state of shock before the blood sprayed from his beheaded neck, frantically.

It then collapsed on its own weight while the beheaded head was still spinning mid-air.

Before any of that reached the ground, the beheaded body and head turned into light particles and dissipated with the air.

In a distance,

In one of the VIP chambers, a white haired man opened his golden eyes and smirked.

"How cruel~" He muttered as a maid next to him stiffened and backed up by a few steps in horror.

"Wha…. Is my smile that scary?" He asked, dumbfounded, as he turned to gaze the maid dressed woman.

"The old-man has gone crazy!!" She muttered in horror as her eyes widened.

"Wha…."

"Kyaaaa!!! Don't talk, you old geezer!! I'll cut you!!" She screamed in horror as she backed away to the door and pointed her hand at the man. It seemed like she was holding a handle of a sword, but there was nothing in her hands,

Until,

FHOOOOMMM!

Flames blazed out of nowhere, swirled hastily before becoming a blazing sword in her hands.

"..." The white haired man, who was also the chairman of the Dreams Academy, stared at her strangely.

But,

In the next second, the maid's entire demeanour changed as she turned around, adjusted her clothes and opened the door of the VIP chamber with a hint of elegance graced into her actions.

Without speaking anything, she made way to the visitor as she bowed her head as she welcomed the purplish pink, waist length haired woman, in.

The woman entered in a sensual gait, stood at the entrance as the maid closed the door behind her, and

"KYAAAAAA!!!" The maid squealed in excitement as she jumped around a few times before jumping on the purplish pink haired woman, hugging her by her neck.

"Faith!!!" The maid yelled in delight as the purplish pink haired woman slightly smiled at her.

"Allura…." Faith gently called out at the maid and stroked her hair.

Suddenly,

Allura took a deep breath of Faith's scent, making the latter stiffen and push away the former.

"You pervert!" Faith exclaimed as her face redden in embarrassment.

"Hahaha haha!!" Looking at his disciples joking around, Eadwulf Woottone, laughed in delight.

Faith turned to face her master to complain, but her beautiful pinkish purple irises furrowed at him right ear. Following her gaze, Allura also stopped herself from laughing and turned to gaze at her master while clutching her stomach.

"!!!" Her eyes too dilated in shock.

Eadwulf Woottone, frowned in confusion and touched his slightly longer and sharper ear, and felt a small cut that had yet to heal without his attention.

His gaze sharpened as he gazed at his fingers that were marred in blood after he removed the residential mana in the cut, which healed by the next instance.

His ears twitched slightly as he picked up the whispered words of the man his gaze had annoyed previously.

"That's a warning." The voice said.

Eadwulf flashed a smirk and turned to gaze at the mist covered dome which was peered through by his eyes glimmering golden, before his gaze landed on the man with a crimson blindfold.

Eadwulf could almost instantly tell-----thanks to him being on guard against the man who seemed to be acting blind----- that, he was still in the blind man's attack range.

If the man wanted, he could massacre everybody in the academy, but he just chose not to do so,

At least, not yet.

Eadwulf raised his palm where a brilliant golden helix was seen spiralling as he continued to gaze at the blindfolded man, still hoping to see through him.

"You can't understand things with mere words can you? Do you not understand once, if I tell you your gaze is annoying, you lower your eyes, understand?" Eadwulf directly heard the man's voice in the VIP chamber by the next instance, shocking both his disciples.

Eadwulf's mana surged violently and almost immediately, everyone and everything in the dome disappeared as the dome shrunk and turned into a humongous globe which displayed different examinees to different people.

Of course, the sight they were seeing could be changed by the remote in their hands, which also helped them to cast votes.

Almost instantly, the calculated count of the votes was displayed on the cylindrically spiralling screens above the globe.

[Marken – 1782]

....

…..

Two major factors affected the current results;

One: Ken was insanely charming. His actions and aura drew people's attention.

Two:

Well,

He was blind.

And he was a swordsman.

Sympathy combined with many undesirable desires, caused the result.
