Chapter 33 - Elemental Heirs.

"Wha….."

'Why did he attack me?' Fleta muttered inwardly as she stood in all fours. She pondered over it but the thoughts seemed too intricate hence she stopped thinking. She shrugged her shoulders and mouth as she moved forward after collecting the points.

[+5 pts]

"Poor bastard" Fleta cursed at him cutely with a huff and walked away.

Points allocation system for the current examination was:

• Rank [F-, F, F+] = 0 pts.

• Rank [E-, E, E+] = 1 pts.

• Rank [D-, D, D+] = 2 pts.

• Rank [C-, C, C+] = 3 pts.

• Trainee = 5 pts + the points they have accumulated.

And currently Fleta's points were on; [6 pts], one from an [E-] ranked rat-like beast, and 5 from the trainee, whom she had instinctively killed.

Since the young man's points were stolen, a magic circle manifested beneath his unconsciousness body before it disappeared without a trace. Of course, as he had already lost consciousness, his body would have disappeared after a few seconds and the points would have automatically been allocated to Fleta, but since she was near him, his body remained there for a few seconds more.

But, if he was in danger even after he lost consciousness, then he would have instantly teleported out of artificial space.

Meanwhile,

At a certain distance away from Fleta, Elfrida strode, grumbling under her breath.

She also had obviously heard the beast's roar, so she decided to defeat it to "prove" herself.

What she could understand from her argument with Ken was the fact that he was mocking and belittling her and her efforts.

With that understanding, she wanted to prove herself to be not someone to be taken lightly.

"Hmph! If I defeat berserk beast before everybody else, he won't dare underestimate me again, right?" She mumbled with a pout.

"Seeing how he let me leave, he must have felt confident he could defeat me any time he wanted, or he must have been wary of my strength….. it must be the former, he didn't seem like somebody who avoids danger…."

"Then, if I defeat the beast before him, he should acknowledge my strength and stop underestimating me, right?" She muttered under her breath and felt as if she had been enlightened.

"….. After that, I can recover my strength and fight him again…. I'm sure he won't attack me like a coward while I'm recovering …." She mumbled as her heart palpitated as a sudden understanding flashed in her mind.

'Why am I so sure about things when it's about him!!? I haven't even known him for that long!?' She pondered as her cheeks turned scarlet.

"Have been observing him that much? Even though it has been only for a few minutes? Or am I simply assuming his character as I like it?" Elfrida muttered as she walked in the direction of the beast's roar, blushing visibly.

On the other side of the artificial space;

An young woman with thigh length silky black hair rushed towards the beast with her obsidian black eyes glimmering in determination and indifference. She had a perfectly endowed hourglass shaped body, with her hair tied up into a pony, which somehow even though they, her hair, were longer than what a woman would find easy to maintain, they didn't hinder her moments as if they had a will of their own.

She held an unsheathed rapier in her right hand while her left hand rested on her sheath that hung around her slim waist.

'This seems meaningless…..' She thought.

Being "stronger than normal" since birth, she found everything around her to be meaningless, of course, things changed if her opponent was stronger.

Since she was from a Noble family and she was the youngest, she was a bit too pampered by her family and every time she was excited about being able to fight a stronger opponent, who could hurt her, she was stopped.

And as if that wasn't enough, everything that could potentially threaten her was discarded off by her parents and grandparents.

That included her pet cat.

Her family pampered her so much that not even a scratch had appeared on her;

Until, she picked up a sword.

Since then, she hadn't stopped wielding a sword and even found her own swordsmanship style which was the reason behind her picking up a rapier.

And due to being "talented," her strength never stopped growing, and now, she was sure she was stronger than the geniuses of her age, hence

"Haaaa…." She sighed, feeling things were meaningless, but at the same time, she was looking forward to fighting the beast which seemed to have gone berserk.

'The test's strongest beast should be a rank [C-] or [C] beast, if the beast that has gone berserk is the strongest beast then it should have reached the rank [C+] or [B]…..' She analysed.

Of course, the strongest beast within the test is supposed to be a secret, but it wasn't something that was strictly restricted from being learned, and even if it was, it wasn't that hard for a Noble's family with power and authority to learn about such simple things.

And fortunately, her family was that someone with power and authority.

On another side,

Alfred Winter was also seen rushing in the direction of the beast after hearing its roar. Since he was from the south where the demons, monsters, and beasts were seen lurking around most of the time, he was well aware that the beast had went berserk.

But,

The reason he was going there was for a different reason than the rest,

'I hope I'll find that blind monster there…..' He thought inwardly.

The reason he wanted to find him was because he was asked to be with him by his father, so that no other Nobles approach him with the intention of recruiting him into their families or knighthoods.

In another corner,

Another bulky young man with dark brown hair and much darker shade of brown dyeing his eyes, was seen rushing towards the beast's roar with an excited and unruly grin on his face as he bashed his fists against each other.

While on another corner,

A young woman with calm and gentle facial features gracefully rushed towards the beast with her hands clenching a staff. Her short shoulder length hair was pear green in colour while her eyes were glimmering in bluish green colour.
