As Ethan leaped out with his sword in hand, he swung the blade toward the driver who was cautiously approaching the back of the truck with a handgun in his grasp.
Upon seeing Ethan's incoming sword, the driver was quick in his reaction, swiftly retreating to dodge the sword swinging his way. Just then, he pulled the trigger, firing the gun toward Ethan.
Ethan, on the other hand, after seeing the man dodge his sword attack, didn't hurry to follow up as he saw the handgun the man was holding.
Just then, a warning sense of danger triggered in his head. Without any hesitation, he quickly ducked to the side, rolling in the desert sand just as a loud gunfire sound was heard; the driver had fired towards Ethan.
Luckily, Ethan was fast enough to avoid the devastating blows which, upon making contact with the desert sand, blew up a large portion of it.
