Murky really hated the fake personality he had unintentionally developed. It made him seem weak and like he would fall apart when he was around other people.
He developed this mindset as a way to protect himself, to shield himself from the difficult experiences he had with his family before he went to school.
That's what he used earlier to get out of the situation.
"I don't like this fake personality," Murky said quietly. But he felt relieved that he was able to escape using that personality.
It worked well because it helped him get away from situations that he didn't like, just like earlier.
It gave him a break from the pain.
However, at school, he couldn't use that personality because he was forced to play a different role. He had to act like a bully because of a mean girl.
"But don't worry, because I won't have to keep acting for much longer. It will finally end!"
Murky said confidently as he looked at the air, focused on something mysterious and invisible hanging in the sky.
Only he could see it—a secret screen in his mind.
[ Public Nightmare Servers:
[ 1) Earth - Murky Smilodon.
[ 2) Taming Thousand hundred of Dragons - StupidLove. ]
No matter how hard Murky tried to access it, a frustrating message continued to taunt him:
[ Please wait patiently for one hour to gain reading privileges. ]
He waited, feeling excited and ready for something to happen.
"It's been thirty minutes already, but I'm still walking around this complicated place without a break. Where will my tired feet take me?"
Murky talked to himself quietly.
He was surrounded by a big room made of metal. It looked strange and futuristic, and being in it made him feel very small and unimportant, like an ant stuck in a jar.
His gut felt uncomfortable because of it.
"This place is making me feel dizzy. I need to get out of here. Where is the way out?"
Murky was determined to get the rewards promised to him by the system once the hour was over.
Why? He just didn't like being there.
Also, this place, this structure made of steel and computer parts, belonged to his family, the Smilodons.
Murky had a feeling that there were people he had met before or people from his family who were watching him.
As a direct descendant of his family, Murky knew that even though he didn't have the same mutated genes, he couldn't escape his family's surveillance completely.
He knew how greedy and selfish they could be.
"I'm sure these awful people have sent someone from the main branch to watch everything I do. I need to be fast and escape as quickly as possible."
And then, after a few minutes, a person appeared. It was a woman wearing a serious-looking business suit.
Murky raised his hand to get her attention and said, "Hey—" But before he could finish, the woman quickly reached for her gun and pointed it at him.
*Who are you?"
Her voice sounded deep and serious.
Murky didn't understand why she reacted like that, but he didn't lose his determination and avoid letting out a violet reaction.
He quickly took out an object from his pocket and said, "Look!" as he threw his identification card towards her.
Meanwhile, while all of this is happening, the woman already noticed the young man long ago, far away, and he seemed out of place in this empty environment.
She became suspicious and narrowed her eyes as she looked at him. Her mind was filled with curiosity and she had many questions.
She wondered, "Isn't he a student? What is he doing here?"
She thought hard, trying to figure out the mystery.
Could it be that he had somehow escaped from someone's control?
But before she could fully form her thoughts, something unexpected happened.
A card suddenly flew through the air, aimed directly at the woman.
Everything felt like it was in slow motion as the woman, with quick reflexes from years of experience, reached out and caught the flying card.
Her hand trembled slightly as she held onto the card tightly.
Murky, who was good at observing people, noticed what the woman did and how things were unfolding.
"Impressive, I'm sure she's a nightmare soldier disguised as a normal worker," he mumbled silently as he observed her.
He saw her holding onto the card firmly, and he saw this as the perfect opportunity to reveal himself.
He spoke with a calm and confident voice, saying, "I just came here to visit."
His words hung in the air, adding to the tension in the room. He then added, "Take me outside," making his request sound authoritative.
The woman was caught off guard when Murky suddenly made a surprising statement.
It made her feel scared and her whole body shook involuntarily.
At first, she thought it was just her imagination playing tricks on her tired mind. But as she read the contents of the card over and over again, she realized how serious the situation was.
Fear gripped her like a freezing hand, making her feel like she might lose control of herself.
The shocking events made her heart race and her breathing became quick and shallow.
Murky, who was watching her, felt like she was on the edge of losing control and being overwhelmed by her emotions.
However, she gathered her strength and refused to give in to despair.
Trying to remain professional, the woman spoke to Murky with a shaky voice, filled with uncertainty.
"I'm sorry, sir," she stuttered, afraid and regretful.
"But I need to make sure."
She took out a small device from her pocket.
It was a scanner that used advanced technology.
It was connected to the main server, to identify a spy and infiltrators.
It beeped as it checked Murky's identity.
Each beep heightened the tension in the air, and the digital screen showed the results, casting a purple light on the woman's face.
It was a moment when she realized something important that shook her to her core.
"I-" "I-" "I-"
She guttered, as without realizing it, she had stood up against a member of the powerful and influential Smilodon Family.
Feeling the weight of her actions, the woman, with a voice trembling with humility, asked Murky for forgiveness.
"Sir, please forgive me," she pleaded, bowing deeply to show her remorse. But Murky, who was always mysterious, shook his head, showing indifference.
"Doesn't matter," he said casually, his voice showing a lack of concern.
"Just get me out of this place as quickly as possible," he added urgently, his words cutting through the air.
Understanding the seriousness of the situation, the woman, still looking a bit scared, nodded vigorously, showing her willingness to obey.
"Yes young master sir,"
Without wasting any time, she took charge and guided Murky through the complex corridors, skillfully navigating the maze-like structure with a clear sense of purpose.
Along the way, she skillfully used a communication device, urgently explaining to someone on the other end how important Murky was.
"Please prepare a transportation, code E."
Murky, unaware of the woman's actions, arrogantly cleaned his nose with his finger, enjoying the temporary shift in power that had occurred.
Each swipe of his finger was a symbol of his newfound control— of boogers.
As they moved closer to the exit, Murky felt a surge of excitement, fueling his thoughts and ambitions.
'Finally, I'll be free.'
He couldn't help but revel in the anticipation of the power he would soon have, a power that would allow him to manipulate and take advantage of others.
Thoughts of revenge played at the edges of his mind, tempting him with promises of getting even.
It was within his reach, just a breath away, and he could almost taste it.
The tingling sensation in his fingertips heightened his excitement, a physical expression of the anticipation he felt.
"There's the door," he mumbled wifh delight.
Murky's mind buzzed with visions of the rewards and privileges that awaited him, the spoils of the nightmare he had once endured.
The journey toward his ultimate transformation had begun, and Murky embraced it with an intense enthusiasm that consumed his every thought.
Strong emotions swirled within him – a mix of triumph and a thirst for power that pushed him forward.
"I'm coming! I'm coming!"
The stage was set, and he was ready to seize his destiny, to reshape the world according to his desires.
