'They might tie each other rather than letting the other take risks that endangers their lives.' Seraphina sighed as she thought about their personality.
She felt a weird feeling appear inside her heart realizing how strong their bond was.
'What am i doing, getting jealous of little kids. But I must say their bond is something I truly envied. If only we had someone like that.'
She sighed once again thinking of her current relationship.
"I will send a new pair of blades, no need to worry. Don't break them this time."
Although Seraphina was curious about the details of how they broke the sword, she decided not to take any chances.
She never believed in sharing secrets on calls, god knows who might be listening.
Keiran and Luna nodded in agreement. They could buy swords from the system but they deemed it a waste of points.
"Luna, Your next match is tomorrow, make sure to not go anywhere." Seraphina announced looking at them, she wanted to make sure they were present at the time of the match.
"What about mine?" Keiran asked her to which she shook her head.
"I don't know, it hasn't been decided yet. I think it should not take more than a week though."
After talking for a few more minutes, Seraphina ended the call.
"It would be good, if we can call each other outside the kingdom, now we have to stay here for a while." Luna sighed looking at the blank screen.
"You know how it is. The thick mist covering the sky is making it impossible to establish a proper communication channel outside the kingdom, we can barely communicate inside the kingdom." Keiran replied with a sigh.
This screen was only available for the nobles and the royal families to use.
"Let's practice our Ether control." confirming that Seraphina was not mad at them Keiran felt a little relieved.
Even though he knew that she would not be mad at him, there was a certain part of that did not want to see her disappointed or sad face. Luna was the same, they never had anyone they could rely on beside her as a parent.
"What are we going to do?" Luna asked in a puzzled voice. Keiran moved his hand in front of them and activated his ether.
"We will do what the system said." He looked at the hand as a thick uneven and a weary thread started to form in between his index finger and the thumb. "We will make a thread as thin as possible and as stable as we can."
Luna's eyes sparkled as she looked at his hand. Immediately she followed his lead and started concentrating on her hands.
A thread similar to Keiran's started to form in her hand. Beads of sweat started to form on their foreheads as they dived deeper in their training.

In a dark room a teenaged boy was sitting with a haggard look on his face. He looked at the man standing in front of him with his back facing him.
"You will be fighting against that bitch tomorrow." The man exclaimed coldly. He was looking at the fireplace at one end of the room.
Due to the darkness in the room, the fire made his expressions even more menacing. His face was filled with pure hate.
"How? She is too strong, father!" There is helplessness and fear in the voice of the boy. His eyes were filled with panic as he looked at the back of the man.
John Smith turned and slapped the boy in his face. The strength of the slap caused the boy to slam in the ground.
He looked at his son with cold eyes as he replied.
"You trash! Do you think I don't know that! They are that strong with trash ability and what about you? You are nothing but trash with such a supreme ability."
Those cold words struck Evan's heart making him tremble in anger.
He clenched his fist while looking down at the floor. His eyes were bloodshot and there was blood dripping from his lips.
Without giving any second glance to his son John looked away and added, "I have already made arrangements for that girl she won't be able to perform well in her match. You just need to finish her. I have made an agreement with the two Family heads to spare you if they were paired against you."
Evan was shocked hearing this information, he couldn't help but ask back in shock.
"Isn't it the rule of the arena that only one can survive in a match? There can be only one winner??"
Hearing the words of his son scoffed at him and gave him a side glance. He wasn't worried about anyone except the head of the noble families and the twins. He was confident he could kill everyone except them without any efforts.
"The rule of the arena is that there are no rules, the winner decides what to do with the loser. There is an exception to that too."
His words caught Evan by surprise and continued asking.
"What is that exception??"
John satisfied his curiosity while picking up his overcoat from the hanger.
"The final match! In the final match there can only be one survivor, only then can the other guy fight against the king."
After wearing the clothes back on he gave his son one last look and left last words before leaving the room.
"This is your final chance, do not disappoint me boy. Kill that whore in the most merciless way possible or do whatever you want with her because if you fail, You will Die!!"
*Thud*
Evan kept gazing at the ground with a vacant look in his eyes as he heard the sound of the door closing.
He stayed in that position for some time before looking back up, his eyes were filled with determination and killing intent.
"I will kill you, Luna Solunar! He will be mine!! No one will be able to take him away from me!!!."
His cold declaration echoed in the empty room.
