One beautiful, sunny, Monday morning. Year eight, were in the hall for assembly, after the science teacher pass some information around for students to follow, the head of year eight came and gave an announcement, saying, good morning my lovely and amazing year eight people, you have all made this school proud for all your hard work and performance, the is a competition coming up soon, a spelling bee competition, who ever is interested should please come and see me during lunch time, and if u are not interested that is okey, because no one is forcing anyone into the competition, feel free and make ur decision, thank you for your time and attention, you all have a lovely day. We all dispatched and went to our different lessons for the morning. At break time, while I, Rosh and some friends were having our snacks, Rosh brought the spelling bee competition topic up, and we all started talking about it, laughing, chatting and having fun. I ask Rosh, hey Rosh, are u signing up for the spelling competition? Rosh replied me, saying, I don't know yet, are u signing? I said, if you are signing then I will but If you are not interested then I'm not interested, he said okey, let talk about it when we get home to also get mom and dad opinion. Break was over, everyone went to their different lessons for the afternoon. In English class, Miss Ball ask the class, who is going for the spelling bee competition? Half of the class raised their hands up. Miss Ball looked at I and Rosh and said, aren't you two going for the competition? Rosh replied the teacher saying, we don't know yet Miss, I and Ruger will ask our parents when we get home before we decide, either to sign up for it or not. Miss Ball said, oh okay, that is a good decision both of you made, I love that, great thinking, keep it up. That day I and Rosh got home from school and spoke to our parents after the competition information we heard from school. My parents wanted Rosh and I to join the competition and give a try of our confidence. The next day we both signed up for the competition. We revised for the competition, all the English teachers in the school really helped all the students that are going for the competition revised, also at home my parents did assist I and Rosh with our spellings and the meaning of the words. It was 5:00am when my parents came into our room to wake I and Rosh up saying, baby boys today is ur spelling competition, you two need to revise before going to school, my both parents helped I and Rosh prepare for the competition before getting ready for school. We got to school very early around 7:30am, we got there and saw everyone going into the bus, my parents pecked I and Rosh on the forehead and waved us bye saying, good luck my good charm, make your parents and your school proud. We were all nervous at first but as the competition started we all smashed the competition, our school came first position, we all won awards home and a big trophy for the school with a big smile on everyone's face.
